Chapter 92
Afraid that she was hallucinating, Natalie pinched the back of her hand hard and blood drew from her sun–kissed skin.
Seeing the blood and feeling the pain, she choked up. “It hurts. I’m not dreaming.”
Easton was speechless.
Natalie looked at Easton, feeling
It was just too creepy to wake up to find a big man standing by her bed and staring at her.
“Easton, why are you here? This is my room. Why do you show up here so early in the morning? It is impolite. Don’t you know anything about personal boundaries between men and women?” asked Natalie.
He stayed faithful to Jennifer and had never had a close relationship with her after they got married. Besides, he rarely went into her room either.
It was only six months later that he had a close relationship with her when he got drunk, which led to her getting pregnant. A year later, they both lost their lives.
In this life, she wouldn’t harm the child she was destined not to meet.
As long as she divorced Easton, she wouldn’t hurt her baby.

Easton sat on a stool nearby and explained coolly, “Because this is the property of the Garcia family and I’m your husband.”
Natalie was shocked and speechless. “Even if it’s your property, you can’t just enter a customer’s room at random. If it were another woman, you’d probably be at the police station by now.”
Natalie didn’t look at Easton’s face and just rubbed her eyes.
Easton watched her rub her eyes in her panic and realized how cute she was. She was cute and confident.
It was the first time he had seen Natalie get up, and he found her adorable.
At home, she always dressed appropriately.
These days, she can sleep until she naturally wakes up, not having to get up at six to make breakfast for him.
Wendy was right; Natalie has given a lot.
Jennifer didn’t have to do anything, yet she got his favor.

She was speechless, placing her hands on the quilt. The spot she had pinched was bruised now.

Easton stared at her and thought, ‘Is she dumb to hurt herself like this?‘
Natalie huffed angrily. “Easton, I’ve already agreed to the divorce and signed the papers. I won’t go back on my word, so there’s no need to drag me out early for it.”
She tossed the blanket aside and got out of bed. “Wait a second. I’ll change my clothes and then go to the courthouse together.”

She had to admit Easton was incredibly handsome with an outstanding presence. Any woman who saw him couldn’t help but feel drawn to him.
Natalie succumbed to his handsome allure when she was 17 years old, falling for him with no way to retreat.
A strange sadness filled her heart for she was willing to give her all to this man. She once truly loved him and loved him with all her heart.
“Mr. Garcia, I’m ready now. Shall we get our divorce license?” she called out calmly.
Easton snapped back to reality, meeting her calm gaze. Suddenly, an inexplicable anger surged within him. He jumped to his feet, with his eyes blazing with fire.
Natalie froze, sensing a murderous intent!
The overwhelming anger seemed ready to overwhelm her. She stepped back.
Easton sneered. “What? You poisoned my mother and now you’re looking for a divorce to get rid of me?”
Natalie paused and suddenly understood what he was talking about
Natalie thought, ‘Actually, his mom… Forget it. I couldn’t tell him yet.
“You were the one who diagnosed her with mental illness and personally sent her to a psychiatric hospital. Why are you accusing me of poisoning her?” Natalie said.
It seemed that Jennifer set her up again last night as she was absent.
Natalie thought, ‘Easton is such an idiot; he can’t even protect his own mom. How can he protect anyone else?‘
Easton looked at her closely and smiled mockingly. “But I have proof that you poisoned my mom. My mom really has gone
insane.”

Natalie’s heart ached instantly, and she let out a bitter laugh. “Easton, you’ve never trusted me. If you think I did it, then that’s the truth for you.”

Easton clenched his fists and glared at her. “Natalie, why aren’t you explaining? Before, you always had solid proof to clear your name and show that it wasn’t you.”
Natalie’s eyes were charming when she smiled. “Easton, if you think I did it, then take your evidence to the police and report me. I don’t want to waste my breath on a fool like you.”
“Natalie, you…” Easton was shocked.
“Are we getting a divorce or not?” Natalie pressed, losing her patience.
Easton looked at her, seeing her exhaustion in her beautiful eyes. She was too tired to even argue.
“Natalie, did you forget what I said? To me, there’s no such thing as divorce, only becoming a widow.”
Natalie was incredulous. “If you’re not divorcing me, why did you come all the way here and show up in my room early in

Natalie felt helpless; no matter what she did, it was wrong.
Easton spoke in a calm voice, “I never said anything like that to her.”
Natalie unlocked her phone and played the recording from yesterday. “Natalie, you should come back tonight and get that divorce. Easton said he wants to finalize it tonight. I’m afraid you’ll say I bully you again if you’re not present.”
Natalie teased with a radiant smile. “Mr. Insane, listen to what your nagging wife is saying.”
Easton furrowed his brows and asked in confusion, “Who are Mr. Insane and his nagging wife?”
