It was a challenge.
The Lycan king had gotten tired of the games and posed a challenge to the alpha of Koslow. It was supposed to be harmless, and it would have been if it wasn’t one that came from Miroslav brahimovic bimself. This right here was about to be the definition of fuck around and find out. The King had been patient, but the alpha had been arrogant, almost like he didn’t actually realize the magnitude of the mess they were in. Perhaps they didn’t understand better because the mad King hadn’t come into Koslov with an army or even tried to fuck up their lives to make an announcement to him.
“Decide, fast,” King Miroslav said as he looked at the duo grimly le despised what had become of this pack, a pack once great was now worse than a shell of what it had been years ago. He hated how they had been reduced to a bunch of people led by cruel animals. Now he understood how easily Drescher had been able to get away with everything, and even how easy it had been for the wolves to evade the consequences of cruelty to their pack members. They had an alpha, one who didn’t care about anything other than the fact that he remained in that seat, and made amends with the wrong people.
They were drunk on power, and motivated by a region that shouldn’t have seen light in the first place and Miro was going to make sure they didn’t forget what he would do to them for their negligence of duty. He had come here hoping to get better information on Drescher, because maybe if he started from the very place that Drescher had been born and bred, maybe he would have a higher chance of getting the man red–handed. Miro never needed the Koslov pack’s help in finding Drescher Volkov. He could find Drescher on his own, but then he had wanted to see for himself what kind of people the Koslov wolves
were.
And he was disappointed by the result, because there was just no way that this alpha was being real with him. But then again, he had just come and seen them firsthand and made the conclusion on his won. What of the other things that they were probably still enabling in the pack? Oh, how Miro was pissed. He knew he wasn’t in the position to say shit about saving people, but everyone knew King Miroslav Ibrahimovich loved and protected his Lycans with everything he had and did not have. They knew that no one would ever be able to get close to his Lycans without risking their heads coming off.
Everyone in the entire supernatural realm and beyond already knew that the Lycan king never compromised when it came to his people. He always, always saved them no matter what happened along the way and that made him a better router than the power–hungry bastards he was staring at. This was just purely heart breaking. There was no other explanation for it. But maybe they had, right? Well, whatever it was, it couldn’t be any better than how pathetic they seemed. Which alpha even walked over his people like that?
“Drescher is in Mirza at the moment and he is with a revolution army ready to take down Asmoria. I know that doesn’t make it any different, seeing as you probably already knew that. Of course, as was expected, Ucion didn’t trust Rykar’s words and had scanned the wolf’s mind to see if the bullying had truly stopped and if the rules had actually been implemented. It was interesting how much truth Rykar was spewing in all earnesty. The young alpha wanted change, he wanted to make life better, and he wanted to ensure that the bloodbath truly stopped and that made him different for some reason. Maybe another life, they would have been the best of allies, and not a part of a treaty that was made by the foundation of their quren’s blood, and tears. This was not fair, at all,
“Did you know he killed his mother?” Miro asked once Rykar was done expressing himself.
Alpha Rykar stared at the king all breath elaine him as he lifted his head to get a glimpse of the king, surely that couldn’t be true, right? There was just no way his best friend could go on and let his mother be murdered or even killed like that, right? Oh, but Rykar was confused and at the same time, he was filled with so much pain. She had a heart of gold and if Drescher had let her die, then perhaps there was no redemption for his best frien, right?
