Kara: 111 take care of

Ralphine said to the warrior who was staring at her worriedly.

Ralphie dadi want to turn this in her favor, but seeing the King that furious, was slowly draining her energy. She was already feeling she was trapped in this room with a beast who wouldn’t hesitate to cut off her head at any chance. Maybe that was a cruel assumption, given the King had been nice to her, but what else could she do when the only thing she could afford at the
ou’re silent now?” the Lyean King asked frustratedly as he walked towards her. He hated that this had happened and he the outcome could have been completely different, if Viktor had not informed him of what was happening out there or even of the fact that his erasthai had willingly put herself in danger.
Miroslav knew what had happened out there and while a part of him was proud of her for getting out there without thinking pace about the dangers the other was mad that she could have lost her life in her careless pursuit. There wasn’t a thing on the face of the earth he could have done to save her. acne they weren’t even mated. It was a horrifying thought, one that kept Miroslav thinking over and over but getting no answers.
He hasn’t interacted with his mate most of the time, so suggesting the completion of their mate bond would just be a selfish, barbane request that would make him no different from a narcissist, seeing as Ralphine would be the perfect balance for his Kingship. Hell the fates knew that when they paired them together, but that wasn’t what motivated Miroslav Ibrahimovich
Im sorry I know it wasn’t my place, and I know how unimportant I was to the situation. But I couldnt just sit back. Maybe it stupid decision, but if they came this far just because of rumors you got a mate. I just wanted to see if what I read in the

earnestly while looking at the Lycan King
roslav looked at his Erasthai apologizing for what she had done, but he couldn’t understand why she would put herself in danger for just something she read in the books. The books were written by the old people who probably had their interests in mind. Some books had been proven to be written for selfish purposes and it took a lot of work to determine what was good and what was not. It was too much.
“Please make me understand. You did all that simply because you read it somewhere in a book?” King Miroslav asked with a scoff as he tried to wrap his head around the fact that the woman had risked her life over something she read about. He wasn’t sure he wanted her reading things anymore, but he couldn’t take her to the battlefields too, so he just had to compromise.
wen, that still didn’t make up for the fact that she had almost lost her life.

“So, you, a mere wolf with nothing that can defend the Lycans, rushed there in nothing but a robe, to join the battle? Which battle was it for then! One of the skirts and sexy bodies? Was it a competition for the prettiest, because that is one I know you would win if they dont look at the brains,” Miroslav said and Ralphine just bowed her head as she listened.
She had always been the outcast in Koslov so being scolded for trying to make things easier wasn’t new to her. This barbaric King had called her beautiful and sexy, yet brainless in the same sentence and she was confused as to what he wanted with her. Perhaps she was just a trophy for him, or maybe she should have just stayed indoors to avoid the chaos. But what use could
that bet
“I’m sorry, your highness. I won’t do it again.” Ralphine said, her voice so apologetic, while her hands shook in the process.
She was terrified of this man, and there was no lying about it. The horrors she had heard about him were true. because the books described them a little too vividly I was scared to know. So, the only thing Ralphine could do right now, was hope to the goddess that she didn’t lose her life in his hands. That was her only wish, at least until she knew where her parents‘ ashes were kept

T’ll stay indoors. I won’t leave unless you permit me to. I won’t do anything you don’t want. Just please spare my life, at least for a little longer. I am not asking for more than a year of life, your highness. Just please, don’t kill me before a year ends, please?” Ralphine begged as she went on her knees and bowed before the King.
“What?” A shocked Miroslav asked as he watched his crasthai bend the knee for him.
King Miroslav Ibrahimovich had lived for twenty–five years and always loved it when people bent their knee before him. because it made him feel powerful and undefeated. It always made him feel like the was on top of the world and that he would do whatever he wanted and get away with it anytime.
However, seeing his erasthai on her knees broke his heart to the point that he was confused for a moment. He hadn’t expected this. This wasn’t how he had intended to be with his mate, not when she was submitting like this. Hell, he didn’t even think of submission with his mate. To him, they were equals, only that he had never spelled that out to her. But when would he even be
able to
Sure, he had done his homework on her and knew that she wasn’t the kind to argue or fight back, but seeing her down on her knees, made him feel like the worst meat to ever live, so he hurriedly bent down with her, before holding her hands gently and getting her up. He didn’t like what he was seeing and he couldn’t be this monstrous to the one woman who was his other half. It got his heart breaking one too many times.
“Don’t say that, Ralph, please,” the King said as he held his Erasthai’s hands and walked her to their bed.
“I didn’t mean to disrespect you, wear it in my life,” Ralphine explained as she fumbled with her fingers once again as Miroslav did the most un–Miroslav thing of all time. He pulled her into a hug, and began breathing her in softly.
Ralphine hadn’t expected this, but she knew better than to try and pull away. She wouldn’t fight him, because she didn’t have the strength, and also because she was in the wrong; not like she would win even if she tried to fight him off.
“I’m the one who should be sorry, Ralph, to you. I didn’t mean to shout at you like that. I was just worried for you. I would hate to see you hurt,” King Miroslav said as he lifted his Erasthai’s head so that she wasn’t bowing to him anymore. He didn’t want her to think she was his captive or anything and he wanted to make peace with her for his previous outburst.
“Still, it wasn’t my place to step out there,” Ralphine said softly like she was acknowledging the truth of the situation. But would that make the King change his mind about his mate?
“You’re their queen, Ralph. I accepted you the movement I brought you home with me and in my private space. Nothing is ever going to change that. No one is going to hurt you and no one is ever going to come at you again. I don’t care if I have to fight the world for you, I will. But you must promise me you won’t put yourself in danger anymore.
“There are over eight thousand highly trained Lycan warriors in the Kingdom, without the reserves. The Asmoria Kingdom is well protected and nothing can ever change that. If there is a war, the warriors and I will be at the forefront to make sure the war never gets to you, Ralph. You’re my queen, our queen and you’re the light of our Kingdom
“We can’t lose you. “I can’t afford to lose you, not when I just got you and not when I just started to know you,” King Miroslav said and Ralphine just stared at the man like this was some version of this King that was bought at the humanity store. Perhaps they had one here or perhaps the king was being sincere.
Ralphine could sense the sincerity and worry in her mate’s voice and she wanted to say something, anything, but she couldn’t. She wasn’t sure if her world would make this King feel any better or would make her feel any better than what she was at the moment. She was happy he chose her, even though she hadn’t quite grasped what he had said yet, but she was glad she would
be useful to him.
“I’ll communicate next time. I just wanted to do something for you given you were there for my what and you were exhausted. It was my fault that the warriors didn’t have their King with them. I thought maybe showing up would give them morale, even if you weren’t there,” Ralphine said after a long silence and Miroslav just kissed her forehead
Bit by bit, the great King was hearing about his mate and how she was thinking. He had imagined her reason would be that and he had been mean to her, however, he couldn’t hide the pride in his eyes when he looked at her. She was the perfect queen for the Lycans. She may have been a Lycan in transition right now, but she was everything that anyone would be glad to
have
“I’ll work on my communication too, Ralph. I haven’t been good at it for a long while but I will try, for you. I would do anything for you.” King Miroslav said softly and Ralphine smiled at him. Maybe the King wasn’t so bad after all, right?
“Thank you,” Ralphine said and Miro looked at her confused.
