Before clocking out for the night, Ivan specifically logged into the system to take a quick look.
The studio had its own website system, complete with accounts for each individual, from the manager to the receptionists, the photographers, the makeup artists, the assistants, and so on.
The receptionists were responsible for uploading the information of customers who had already made their deposit.
All client information was consolidated by Lilliane. Before the end of the workday, she would distribute the projects to the various photographers, make–up artists, and their respective assistants.
Upon loading the page, Ivan saw that the column under his account for the 21st was still empty.
Could it be that Lillian hasn’t allocated the projects yet?
By the next morning, when Ivan opened the website, he found that his agenda for the 21st was still empty.
What’s going on?
Coincidentally, a colleague was at his desk nearby, so he turned to ask, “Has your schedule been updated?”
The colleague sitting next to him was also a master–level photographer, who had gained a fair bit of fame in Fairlake. Numerous clients specifically requested his services, and his schedule was already boo! until the 25th.
When Ivan asked, he promptly logged into his account and took a quick look. “It’s been updated.”
He had lined up two more himself, reaching up till the 27th.
Ivan’s heart skipped a beat.
Could it be that Ms. Bella is also aware of his reputation and specially requested him to take the shots, and that’s why I haven’t been assigned any?
He rose to his feet, casually resting a hand on his colleague’s chair as he leaned over to glance at the computer screen. To his surprise, he found two new appointments added, yet none of them bore the name Bella Saltzman.
It seems that Ms. Bella must have chosen another master–level photographer.
Upon this thought, Ivan was filled with disappointment

Ivan swiftly found the client list, his eyes catching Bella’s name. When he looked further down, he was promptly taken aback.
Following Bella’s name, the name listed under the photographer’s column was Fay.
Fay? Is that the new photographer who just joined us?
In the initial days when Lenora joined, Ivan was out of town photographing for a client. By the time he returned on Wednesday, Lenora had already left for the shooting set.
It wasn’t until yesterday when Ivan noticed an unfamiliar lady at the desk in the corner, that he remembered seeing an email in his inbox a couple of days ago welcoming a new colleague.
That girl should be the new colleague named Fay.
Aside from a moment of surprise, Ivan had no other emotions toward the new colleague and immediately immersed himself in his work.
It was beyond his imagination to discover Bella’s photoshoot assigned under Fay’s name now!
It must’ve been Bella’s choice, otherwise, Lilliane would never have arranged it this way. If something comes up for Fay and she’s unable to shoot, then I willingly volunteer myself, Bella probably wouldn’t object, right?
With this in mind, Ivan gave Liliane a heads–up, that he had something to attend to the following Monday and not to schedule him any jobs for that day.
As for how to get Fay to willingly turn down Bella’s photoshoot?
She had a private gig to shoot on that weekend.
The client was an international student at Pillere University. She wanted to capture personal portraits as a keepsake, so she chose to wear her everyday clothes for the shoot. The photoshoot location was scheduled to take place on the streets of Fairlake, with pictures being taken wherever they went.
Aside from a selection of portraits, the client wished to capture a number of wide–angle shots, emphasizing the presence of Fairlake’s street scenes in the photos.
That was precisely Lenora’s strong suit.
At half past nine in the morning, Lenora was waiting in front of the City Hall, a camera slung over her shoulder.
In less than two minutes, the client arrived right on time. She was a young lady with a round face who warmly called out, “Lenora.”
Following that, the filming officially commenced.

At this point, Lenora was certain that it was Zephyr.
It seems like he’s back in Fairlake.
Beside Zephyr stood a woman in a white dress, intimately clinging to his arm. From one look, one could tell they had an uncommonly close relationship.
Zephyr said something, and the woman, clutching to his arm, gave it a gentle shake, as if she was playfully flirting with him.
Although Lenora couldn’t see the woman’s face from her angle, the latter’s flirtatious actions were unmistakably clear to her.
Lenora recalled that Sophia seemed to have mentioned once about having a girlfriend.
D*mn! This jerk already has a girlfriend and yet is hell–bent on bothering Sophia? How disgusting!
She paused her conversation, immediately pulled out her camera, and took a photo of Zephyr and the
woman.
Somehow, Zephyr seemingly sensed it and sharply turned his gaze in Lenora’s direction. Lenora hastily lowered her head, using her young female customer as a shield to hide herself.
When she looked up again, Zephyr had already entered the shopping center with the woman by his side.
The young female client noticed something amiss with Lenora. Following her gaze, she took a glance outside and asked, “Lenora, what’s wrong?”
Lenora smiled, answering, “I saw someone I know.”
“Huh? Do you want to go say hello?”
“No need. We’re not that close. Let’s just continue with our meal.”
