Mindy was so startled that she shut the door.
Luckily, that person’s attention was fully on Madison, and he didn’t notice Mindy at all.
Someone was assaulting Madison.
Mindy’s heart pounded in her chest, and her legs turned to jelly.
After a few minutes, she finally managed to calm down.
Her rational mind urged her to rush in and save her cousin.

They ushered her into a car and took her to a house. “Where were you and what were you doing at eight in the evening three days ago at the hot spring resort?”
