Chapter 13
-A Satisfactory Surprise-
Alberto took a glance at the guests, whose phones were out of their pocket, taking a video of them.
Anger and fear laced his face, and he quickly loosened his grip on Jane’s arms. This marriage is never going to happen, not in this lifetime or next, you are nothing but a slut and a deceiver he blurted out, averting his steps to the exit.
Abruptly Jane halted him in his steps, as she fell to her knees, holding onto his leg. “You can not just cancel the marriage like that, without hearing me out.”
Everything you heard is all a lie, why don’t you believe me, I can never lie to you,” Jane spat out, with tears that faintly flowed down her cheeks
Alberto stared at her with a disgusting look marred on his face, he instantly pulled away his leg from her hold, and as his gaze fell on her hands holding onto him. “Don’t you touch me, he yelled with a disdainful voice.
If everything is a lie, how do you explain the mark behind your back, that showed on the screen,”
Or did the Photoshoppers also know that you have that huge dark mark on your back, Huh?” He blatantly asked, rage shot in his eye.
“How the hell do you explain the fact that you are in bed with another man, and the kids I thought were mine, aren’t mine from the first start, Alberto asked, with a raging voice that sent shavers of fear to Jane, goosebumps evident on her skin.
“I’m sorry Alberto, believe me!” She says, raising her face from the floor to Alberto’s gaze.
“This is all a trap,” she said, hoping that she would be able to convince Alberto.
Alberto’s lips curled up into an evil smirk, swiftly narrowed an unwavering gaze back at Jane, I will be such a fool to believe your damn lies
“Gosh!” He said, taking a step back, to get a better glance at Jane teary face.
“You are a damn slut, full of cramps, he blurted out angrily, avering his steps to the exit
“Baby wait! You have to believe me, you can’t just leave me here ane said, running after him.
“Watch me do that!” Alberto mumbled to himself, as he did not care to stop, but instead, he fastened his pace. Jane could not keep up with his fast steps, her heel sored her legs with bruises as she ran, for being so tight and fitted, making her groan in pain.
Without sparing Jane another glance, he fasted his pace towards the door, swifily loosened his tie, flipped it off his neck, and flanged it into the air, at God knows where, “I need to find a way to win Arya back, if not for anything, for my dying company,” he said, with a scornful face, as the chauffeur pulled the car, laced with colorful ribbons for the wedding, which had just failed, with the exposure of his bride to be a most dirty secret
‘I need to get her for myself, and be fast about it,‘ he blurted out as his head, hopping into the car, as the door slammed.
Arya stood up, and left the premises, after watching Alberto leave in the grimmering of his anger and disappointment.
She had achieved what she wanted, her heart glimmering in happiness seeing Jane with that unfeeling disdain, and confusion laced on her face, gave her some satisfactory feeling.
“I’m just getting started, Jane!” She blurted in an unfeeling tone, Juced with a hint of rage.
Arya snicked, ‘I bet she never saw this coming, she triumphed inwardly.

“What are my schedules, Cassy,” she asked, after she had hopped into her car, and Cassandra in the driver seat, swiftly passing the iPad to Arya, and gestured to get the engine roared to life before Arya’s question came.

“My lady
you have a meeting by ten A.M. and eleven A.M., and we have just nothing less than thirty minutes for your ten AM. meeting. She replied, not leaving any single details.
“Ok, to the company!” she declared, not raising her face off the Pad
*Sir, what about the meetings you have this morning?” Luen asked, with a concerned look, as he stared at his master with a disturbed look.
“Just cancel them, or shift them to the mid–day, or perhaps tomorrow. Stop asking like you do not know what to do. W both know that the meetings are not that important, so they can wait for tomorrow,” Nathan replied, to Luca’s question sparing him a glance, as he walked into the Dankworth’s company, but suddenly halted in his steps, when a Bow Q12 in, and packed before him, obstructing his front.
Arya stepped down from the car, her heart skipped a beat, when her gaze fell on Nathan, who was right in front of her company, a bit light shade of red colored her cheeks, making her feel a bit nervous.
“What are you doing here. Mister Nathan,” Arya asked, with a shocked look, trying to comprehend if her meetings also involved his company as well, and Cassandra not relating it to her.
“Here to see your father, and as well get your reply on my proposal of taking you on a date” he replied, in a domineering voice, screaming dominance.
“Okay, I was wondering if my meetings involved you as well, but you just cleared it, do have a nice day Mr. Nathan, Arya said, hurriedly entering the company, before her heart jumped out of her throat, at its fast thumping beat, not sparing another glance at Nathan.
“So persistent,” Arya muttered beneath her breath, her voice not audible enough for Nathan to hear, who followed suit behind her.
“What about my proposal? No replies? He asked abruptly, halting Arya in her steps, with his eyes glued on her.
She swiftly turned, now her eyes meeting that seductive gray eyer, enough to sway any woman away off their feet, “I recoll saying I will get to back to you on my free days,” she said, “so when my days are…”
