Chapter 19
-A Visit To The Prison-
Arya graced the steps elegantly, as she walked into the prison, with a red halter neck top, a black midi maxi skirt, accompanied by a black two–inch shoe, and a red bag.
“Hello, I’m here to see Winne, Arya declared calmy, to the warden who was sitting at the entrance, leading to the visiting arena, with his legs crossed on the table before him.
“Good day ma’am,” the warden greeted, raising his gaze to Arya, with an expressionless face.
“I m sorry ma’am, but you can’t see her, the warden said, Arya’s facial expression swiftly darting in confusion, staring at the warden with a stunned face.
“Why? Why can’t I see her, Arya asked curiously, in a defiant tone.
“She had refused to receive any visitors, the warden replied curtly.
Arya was confused, as she tried to fathom the reason why Winne would bluntly refuse to see a visitor.
“Any reason for this?” Arya asked as she narrowed her confused gaze back at the warden.
No reason, it was her decision,” the warden replied, as he stood to leave to attend to his other business.
Arya held him by his arms, halting him instantly from moving. I know I might be wasting more of your time, but could you please tell her that Arya is here to see her, she could change her mind the moment you say so,” she pleaded, with a calm voice, swiftly averting her hands away from the warden’s arm.
“Okay, you can wait in the waiting room. the warden replied curly, leaving instantly.
No positive responses, you are leaving immediately!” the warden declared, while Arya replied with a nod.
A few minutes later
Arya sat down with her hands clasped together like she was prayfig, as her fingers clicked, swinging her both legs, nervousness etched on her face and demeanor.
Suddenly, she heard the door to the waiting open, she turned to find Winne, walking in with a grimace look laced on her face, but Arya didn’t mind.
“Thank goodness you accepted to see me, Arya blurted out, a hint of excitement creeping out of her voice.
“Why in God’s name would you refuse to have visitors,” Arya bluntly asked, gently sitting back down on the seat she had stood up from earlier.
Winne swiftly pulled the other seat, across the table, facing Arya, abruptly sitting on it, like a gangster.
“Why did you come to find me?” Winne asked, in a grumpy voice, intently staring at Arya with an unwavering gaze.
Arya’s lips twitched faintly, “I came to see you, to know how you are doing, and also to thank you for saving me back while I was still here,” Arya replied, as the thought of why Winne was treating her indifferently.
With a scrutinizing look, Winne gazed at Arya from head to tocas Arya’s facial expression darted into a weird look.
Winne nodded spontaneously, narrowing her gaze at Arya, “it seems life is treating you well out there, enjoying power and wealth, it can show with just a look at your skin and luxurious dress,” she said, swiftly stretching forth her hands picking up Arya’s bag, glance at it with an eyes filled with admiration, and dropped back on the table.

Chapter 19
Arya watched her closely, trying to fathom what her weird demeanor was all about, for they were close back while she was still in prison, but all of a sudden started acting cold toward her on her visit, like they had squads to settle.
“Is not what you think Winne, it just that…..”
“Yeah I know,” Winne blurted out, abruptly interrupting Arya from finishing her words.
“I also heard that you are now the heiress to the richest family in Danville, Winne enunciated, with a straightforward look marred on her face, with her leg hanging on the chair she was sitting on, tugging it firmly to her chest with her left hand, as she picked her right–hand finger.
Arya’s eyes widened instantly, staring at Winne with a dumbfounded look. “How did you know?” She asked, curiosity laced
in her voice..
Winne swiftly brought down her leg, as she knelt over towards the table, placing her two hands on the table for support staring directly into Arya’s eyes,” Have you forgotten?” She asked, arching her brow at her, swiftly adjusting her back
on the seat she sat on.
Arya stared at her, like a lost sheep, she couldn’t grasp what Wirine was trying to say,
“Nothing passes us by,” Winne blurted in a condensed voice, hitting her finger on the table, to affirm her utterances.
“Even though we are locked up in here, we know every single thing that happens outside there,” she said further, pointing intently towards the window, with a stoic face.
Arya gestured with a nod at her.
Winne gently rose on her feet, “Since you are done with what you have come here to do, I’m leaving,” she said, taking a step towards the, when she turned abruptly to Aryal
“You should not return here again, this place isnt meant for you anymore, Winne blurted in a commanding tone, her voice sounding more like a warning to Arya.
“You can’t just leave like that! I’m not done yet,” Arya declared, rising from her seat, abruptly holding onto Winne’s hand in an attempt to stop her from leaving.
“I am busy,”
“I was busy before the warden came, and despite the fact I insisted on no visitors, I decided to honor yours, Because it’s you!”
So don’t you feel special or whatsoever,” Winne blurted in a sarcastic tone.
“I’m not feeling special, I came to see you, because I want to talk to you,” Arya said, her face darted in an explainable facial expression.
Winne swiftly flunked her hand away from Arya’s hold, “Go home Miss Arya Dankworths, Winne said, sarcasm laced in her voice, in an attempt to spite Arya with fury, making her leave, as she gestured towards the door in a staggering walk
“Why did you save?” Arya asked abruptly, Winne halted in her strides instantly, a stunned expression darted on her face, as she rolled her eyes suspiciously, before turning to face Arya, with a straight and empotionless face.
“What do you mean?” Winne asked, with a feigned facial expression.
*You are the reason why I left the prison alive! Unharmed!” Ary blurted, a hint of rage evident in the tone of her voice.
You are the reason why those thugs never attempted to kill, despite the furious beating I received behind the bars,” Arya said, pointing fiercely at the door.
“I didn’t do anything, Arya, absolutely nothing! It’s a stroke of mere luck for you to leave alive,” Winne blurted, a hint of
