After hours of travel, my plane landed in Silverclaw pack.
I pulled out my phone, receiving a text: I’m at the airport. Where are you? “Just arrived.”
As I replied, I saw Jake in the terminal. He was dressed impeccably, looking like a gentleman of the old school, gracious and mannerly. He checked his phone, then looked up, searching for me. When his gaze met mine, something inside me shifted. It was like time slowed down for a
moment.
Jake’s expression softened as our eyes locked, and I felt it–an fate bond cursing through me. Moon goddess tied us together. My wolf stirred restlessly within me, a fierce, undeniable claim him.

There was only Jake, only the pull between us. He had the same look in his eyes, as if something in him was just waiting to be awakened.
I suddenly felt a thicker wet feeling between my legs. I was wet inside. And I could feel his dick was so hard it’s going to explode.
MATE! MATE! My wolf screamed in mind. I bet she was soaked up, too.
I was stunned. My naughty childhood rival had changed a lot.
“Wow, surprised?” he teased.“After we’re married, you can stare at me all day.”

He took my luggage, opened the car door, and placed it in the trunk. He smiled as he drove.
“Don’t I deserve narcissism?”
I fell silent, looking at his sharp features. He was incredibly handsome, and I never denied that. He seemed like a playboy, yet he was extremely innocent.
“Rosie,” he said softly as he reached me, his voice low. “I believe we’ve been waiting for this, haven’t we?” He shared the same feeling of mine.
I heard that he never dated after high school. I looked at him.“Why did you agree to marry me? Everyone thought I was joking.”
He smiled.“I thought you knew why.”
“What?” I was completely clueless.
Sighing, he didn’t answer directly.“That was not the first time you had done something crazy. I knew you were serious.” Pausing at a red light, he turned to me.“And… I wished it was true. I’m really lucky.”
What he said stunned me. Not the first time?
My mind raced, trying to figure out what he meant. He was talking about that I moved to

Nightfall pack for Grant? And he said he was lucky?
My ears flushed. I stammered, “You… like me? Before you know I’m your mate?”
The light turned green. He laughed. “Yes. And I like you way more longer than you like Grant.”
He knew that I went to a distant pack and stayed there for Grant, who didn’t appreciate me. He had been waiting for this day for a long time.
I didn’t answer him right away. The truth was, I didn’t need to. Our bond was already formed, too strong to be denied. Instead, I just smiled, a soft, content smile that spoke of everything I was feeling but couldn’t quite put into words.
