Chapter 19
“Tristan, you’re repulsive,” Ash said coldly, stepping back. “Someone like you doesn’t truly love anyone; you only love
yourself.”
Her face showed clear disgust. “You never
Ved me in the first place. You were after the identity of the Moreno family’s daughter. Now that the Moreno family is in trouble, not only do you refuse to help, but you also see me as a way to benefit from my relationship with Shadow Ventures. Are you even a man
Hearing this. Tristan’s face alternated between pale and blush, showing his embarrassment at being exposed.
It’s not like that. You’re the only one in my heart.” While trying to hide his guilt, he tried to show his deep feelings desperately. He couldn’t understand why Ash had treated him so well before their breakup but now looked down on him so much.
“I give you one minute to leave my sight.” Ash couldn’t listen anymore. What was I thinking when I ever liked such trash? Seeing that Ash really didn’t have any feelings for him anymore, Tristan panicked. “Ash…” Before he could finish, he was suddenly thrown out.
Who dares to ambush me?” Tristan clutched his painful thigh and struggled to get up from the ground.
Three seconds are up. Can’t you understand human speech? Calvert’s chilling voice came from behind.
“You again!” Tristan gritted his teeth.
After being humiliated several times, he checked into Calvert’s background and found out that Calvert was the future heir of the Snider family, someone he couldn’t afford to offend.
What? You don’t agree?” Calvert’s icy gaze pierced through him.
“Mr. Snider. Tristan forced himself to suppress the urge to explotle and put on a somewhat pleasing smile, “Not at all. I’m leaving right away.”
Once that annoying person disappeared, Calvert turned to Ash beside him. Her expression was calm, revealing no emotions. “So your taste is this exquisite. No wonder you’re picky,” Calvert mocked. “You’re entangled with your ex–boyfriend while also insisting on not breaking off our engagement. You’re really good at pretending.”
Ash almost laughed in anger. Just got rid of a bothersome fly, and here comes another arrogant maniac!”
“Don’t think tricking my Grandma into proposing to your family means I’ll marry you. A woman like you
want as a maid,” Calvert stated.
I wouldn’t even
She scoffed. “Huh! Sounds like I really want to marry you. If you can make it, hurry up and convince your grandmother to cancel the engagement. Don’t come messing around in front of me.”
“You know Grandma won’t cancel, yet you still say such things Clever move.” Calver’s eyes also turned cold.
“Since I’m so detestable, could you please stay away from me? Ash didn’t want to argue anymore. She was initially grateful to Calvert for driving away Tristan, who kept pestering her, but his words were truly insufferable.
After saying her piece, Ash didn’t care about Calvert’s reaction and headed straight toward the company entrance.

“Do you think I want to be here?” Calvert sneered inore. “Now that both families know we spent a day together in a room. they sent me to discuss our marriage
Hearing this, Ash was speechless. She stopped in her tracks and turned around. The cold appearance finally cracked; she was truly upset.
“Get in the car,” Calvert said.
Ash stood frozen in place.
“If I’m not mistaken, you’ll get in within three minutes.” Calvert wasn’t in a hurry, sitting elegantly in the back seat.
Ash looked doubtful, and before she could figure out what he meant, her phone rang. It was her mother, Brooke, calling Calvert is easy to handle, but what about my parents… After taking the call, Ash resigned herself and got into the car. Brooke found out about yesterday’s incident and demanded Ashand Calvert get married as soon as possible.
It took quite an effort for Ash to persunde Brooke out of the idea of rushing to the bridal shop to pick out dresses. However, Ashi’s parents insisted that both parties go to the Turner family to clarify the situation.
“I knew it,” Calvert said with a mocking tone, showing a hint of disdain. “Acting like you’re being forced, when in reality, you can’t wait to marry me
“Let me say it one more time, I have absolutely no desire to marry an arrogant maniac like you.” Ash rubbed her temples. genuinely annoyed. “When we get to my house, I will explain everything to my parents, and I hope you do the same.
With that, she turned her head to look out the window, not sparing a single glance for Calvert beside her.
Calvert’s eyes darkened. Typical woman from a minor background, such a good actress. If our engagement hadn’t been pushed forward, I might have almost believed her act!
At the entrance of Dream Couture, Samantha stood pale–faced, holding a gift box.
She had returned the dress to Tristan, but he claimed it was damaged and demanded either compensation of 350 thousand dollars or the return of the intact dress.
Samantha didn’t have that much money, so she came to the store to inquire.
Unfortunately, Tracy was the one attending her this time. After checking the receipt and the damaged dress, Tracy was about to take it for repairs when Bailey hurried over.
“You! You looked down on me, right? It could have been fixed, but you said it couldn’t last time,” Samantha grabbed Bailey and shouted loudly.
Bailey looked awkward; she had been busy taking care of her mother who just had surgery and forgot to inform Tracy. But with several customers still browsing in the store, she couldn’t speak openly and only gave Tracy knowing looks.
Seeing the situation, Tracy reacted quickly. “Your dress indeed doesn’t meet the repair standards; I made a mistake.”
Samantha’s face turned pale. Had she known it would come to this, she wouldn’t have made a fuss. But if the dress couldn’t be repaired….

“They bully customers Samantha suddenly sat on the floor, clutching Bailey’s leg “Shameless Adress worth over 100 thousand dollars without after–sales service. If you don’t fix it today. I’m sitting right here and not leaving
Tracy was stunned. Dream Couture had always catered to high–end clientele who were very classy. This was the first time she encountered someone making a scene by sitting on the floor
After directing other customers to the fitting rooms, Tracy returned.
“Ms. Turner, you’re here. Tracy was somewhat surprised.
“Yes” Ash nodded and greeted her, “Go attend to the other customers. I’ll handle this.”
On her way home, Ash suddenly received a distress message from Bailey and asked Calvert to drop her off at the store first
Ash approached Samantha, took out her phone, and aimed it at Samantha. “If I record you like this and post it online, it’s bound to go viral, isn’t it?”
“Bitch, you must have framed me from behind. Samantha jumped up from the floor, glaring at her fiercely. “Where’s your boss? Call them out; I want to file a complaint.”
