“The boss is right here. What do you plan to do?” Ash asked, raising her eyebrows and calmly watching her performance.
Samantha looked around but didn’t see anyone else stepping forward. “You’re lying to me
With the support she had. Bailey’s tone became more assertive Ms. Moreno, the value of the dress you purchased is too low to qualify for repair. Please leave.”
You’re lying! I already checked, and dresses over 350 thousand dollars can be repaired for free, Samantha said furiously, turning to face Ash. “It must be because you envy how much Dal and Mom adore me. You’re ganging up on me! Just wait; I’m going to have the boss fire both of you,”
With that, she turned to find Tracy, hoping Tracy could give her the contact information for the owner of Dream Couture.
She felt that Ash and Bailey were clearly covering for each other. Unable to argue with them, she was determined to find their boss and have them fired.
She wanted to see if they could still smile after Ash and Bailey were fired.
“Ms. Turner, why don’t you just tell her that you’re the owner?” Bailey asked curiously.

There’s no way it’s getting fixed, Ash responded quickly. ‘Samantha climbed into Tristan’s bed behind my back, had the audacity to brag when she was found out, and even conspired with the Moreno family parents to kick me out of their home.. I haven’t settled the score yet. It would be different if it were someplace else, but this is my turf. What’s there to stop me from giving her a hard time?
Tracy was showing a guest a dress in a private fitting room when Samantha looked around and couldn’t find her. She had go choice but to turn back, but looking at the arrogant Ash, she couldn’t swallow her anger.
“Ms. Moreno, please, Bailey said as she handed the dress bag to her, gesturing to show her to leave.
“Jewel, don’t get too arrogant. You’re just wealthy because you’re being kept by a man. Someone like you, Dad and Mom will never let you back in. Even if you give the Moreno family as much money as possible, they’ll never want you,” Samantha spat out these words fiercely and didn’t come forward to take the dress.
Hailey widened her eyes beside her. Humph, Ms. Turner is the daughter of the Turner family. The Turner family ranks alongside the three other families in Riverstone. How could a small Moreno family compare? If it weren’t for Ms. Turner keeping a low profile and not wanting to reveal her status, where would Samantha get off talking down to her?

She had given so much money to the Moreno family before but didn’t get half a bit of gratitude in return. Now that she had withdrawn her funding, she wanted to see how long the Moreno family company could last without Shadow Ventures propping them up.

Jade looked up at the printout at the store entrance, her gaze flicking inside. Sure enough, there was Ash’s figure. She remembered that Ash’s real name was jewel.
As the saying goes, an enemy of my enemy is a friend. She hates Ash so much, then she’s naturally my friend too, Jade thought to herself.
“Hello, my name is Jade. Can I make friends with you?” She smile!, her tone soft
Jade from the Turner family? Samantha’s eyes widened instantly. Such a family would actually want to be friends with her. she couldn’t wait to take out her phone and add Jade on WhatsApp.
Seeing the notification of adding a friend successfully, Jade smiled slightly. “I have something else to do, so I’ll leave first. We can talk more when we’re free.”
Samantha said goodbye to her excitedly, even ignoring the unfixed dress, ready to go home and tell her parents the good
news.
Caspian silently watched all this behind, not speaking, his brow furrowed slightly, feeling something wasn’t right, his gaze fixed on Samantha’s leaving figure.
He had seen fade in a bad mood today and specifically took her out to buy clothes, not expecting to run into this situation.

Hearing this, Caspian sighed. “You’re just too kind. Rest assured, as long as I’m around, I won’t let her bully you. Whatever you like, just pick it; I’ll pay for it.”

Just then, her phone rang again, it was her mother Brooke calling. With her slender fingers, she pressed the answer button. and connected the call.
“Ash, Dorothy wants to schedule a time to come over and propose; when do you think would be most suitable? I’ll pass it on for you.” Brooke’s voice came from the phone.
