The two people still on the helicopter were unaware of what was happening below. Ash felt the impact and turbulence caused by the air currents, but her beautiful face remained calm and composed.
“Hold on tight!” she warned Calvert beside her, her voice steady. She smoothly took control, handling everything with calm. precision, and showing no sign of panic.
Amid the violent turbulence, Calvert remained unfazed as if nothing were happening. However, his gaze was unconsciously fixed on Ash’s every move as she operated the controls.
In such a critical moment, any wrong move could lead to an accident, not a single mistake allowed.
To his surprise, Ash suddenly released the control stick, and the helicopter abruptly spiraled downward.
“Are you crazy?” Calvert questioned, his tone carrying a hint of accusation.
“If we’re going to put on a show, we have to go all out. If it’s not a bit dangerous, how can we convince your grandma to give up on the idea of flying in a helicopter?” Ash glanced coldly at him and asked, “Are you scared?”
Looking at her determined expression, Calvert felt an inexplicable sense of reassurance, even as the helicopter shook violently.
Perhaps he could trust her this once.
Retracting his hand that was about to forcefully take control of the stick, he glanced at her and said, “If we crash, at least you’ll die with me. Not so bad!”
Ash shot him a glare. “You really think so? Even if you want that, I won’t let it happen! You’re truly someone who can’t say anything good.”
The people on the ground watched the swaying helicopter, their hearts leaping into their throats.
“I told her not to go, yet she insisted on doing it anyway,” Caspian said, looking somewhat anxious. If he were the one flying, with his experience, he would be able to handle this level of turbulence easily.
However, he wasn’t sure about Ash’s skills.
If the helicopter didn’t stop in time, the two people inside could only parachute out.
Anyone who could fly a helicopter would certainly know how to use a parachute, but this was the helicopter he had given to his mother, and he couldn’t bear the thought of putting her in such danger.
Caspian deeply regretted allowing her to go up earlier.
Jade furrowed her brows as she saw their parents approaching from behind. She pretended to mumble softly, “How can Ash risk her safety just to show off? I’m really worried about the two of them.”
Her voice was loud enough for everyone to hear.
Brooke’s face turned pale when she heard that her daughter was on the falling helicopter.
Dorothy was also a little nervous, but she still maintained her composure and scolded Jade, “Don’t speak such ominous
words here!”
Brooke and Josh paid no attention to this interruption. Their eyes were fixed intently on the helicopter in the sky. “Don’t worry, Calvert is also on the helicopter. They will definitely be fine!” Dorothy’s confident voice instantly gave

everyone a boost of reassurance.
Caspian instantly realized that what Dorothy said was right. Although Ash was unreliable, Calvert was there..
Josh calmed his wife down. He took a nourishing pill from the medicine bottle he carried and handed it to her, saying, “Don’t overthink it. It’s normal for the helicopter to experience brief turbulence. Just wait a few more minutes, they’ll be back down.”
Although they were no longer in a state of panic, everyone still felt anxious.
It wasn’t until the helicopter neared its lowest landing point that the rapid descent finally slowed down. Caspian let out a complete sigh of relief, saying, “It’s fine now, Calvert must have helped her take control of the helicopter.”
Before long, the helicopter landed steadily on the lawn, and Calvert and Ash stepped out looking calm. Only then did Dorothy and Brooke finally relax.
Jade tightened her grip, thinking, “That little bitch is so lucky to be alive!‘
After being tossed around in the helicopter for so long, Ash didn’t even have a hair out of place and still looked as calm and composed as ever.
Glancing down at her phone, Jade couldn’t help but show a hint of satisfaction. It didn’t matter if Ash managed to escape safely. Once the police came, the real show would begin.
“Dorothy, I’ve tried it for you, you can’t take this helicopter,” Ash spoke gently, her tone soft.
Dorothy had just been a bit flustered from the scare, but now she finally calmed down as she saw the two of them safely standing in front of her,
“I won’t go then. I will listen to you,” Dorothy said, though there was a slight tremble in her voice.
Ash casually placed her hand on Dorothy’s back, gently pressing on a few key points. “I’m sorry for worrying you. Let me give you a massage.”
Under her precise technique, it wasn’t long before Dorothy appeared calm, her face no longer pale and her breathing steady.
Other than Calvert, who had always cared about Dorothy, no one else noticed this change.
In his eyes, Ash had merely given Dorothy a back rub, yet Dorothy’s previously poor condition quickly improved. ‘Is her medical skill really that impressive?‘
Calvert subtly averted his gaze.
After confirming that everyone was fine, Caspian looked at her angrily, “Didn’t I tell you not to be so stubborn? But you didn’t listen! If it weren’t for Calvert, would you even be standing here right now?”
Ash glanced up at him, wondering why Caspian couldn’t just speak nicely.
She really wanted to shut him up.
Brooke also stepped forward, looking her precious daughter up and down. “You really scared me! Don’t do such dangerous things again in the future.”
“I’m skilled, so there won’t be any problems. It was just turbulence because of the air currents,” Ash said, pointing to the somewhat overcast sky. “In weather like this, you shouldn’t choose to travel by helicopter either.”
Brooke looked at her lovingly. “You’re always thinking about us.”
“Her skills are indeed not bad. I didn’t help at all during the entire flight.” Calvert’s cold voice sounded. He glanced at

Caspian as if responding to what he said.

Caspian was taken aback. He had witnessed Calvert’s flying skills himself. Even he, someone with professional training, felt slightly inferior. He had never received such praise from Calvert before.
Yet, Calvert was the one who actually said that Ash’s flying skills were not bad.
One had to know that Calvert had never praised others easily. Hearing “not bad” from him was already a very high compliment.
Caspian looked a little embarrassed. He did not know what to say for a moment.
Brooke and Josh exchanged glances, their eyes filled with satisfaction. Although they didn’t know exactly how well their daughter had flown, Calvert’s words clearly indicated that he was defending Ash.
“Sir, ma’am, a police car has arrived at the entrance. They said that Mrs. Ash Turner has been behaving inappropriately, maintaining an improper relationship with someone, and even assaulting others. They want to take her to the station for questioning,” Wisley, who was in charge of trimming the garden, rushed over, panting, with a look of tension on his face.
Hearing his words, the expressions of several people on the scene instantly changed.
Jade felt extremely delighted inside, but she put on a perfectly shocked expression. “How could she do such a thing? Did the police make a mistake?”
