“Your stomach is bulging day by day. What are your thoughts at work?”
The work pressure at Galaxy Holdings Group was tremendous. As an assistant to the president’s office, Meryl had to deal with complicated and trivial matters every day, which was very exhausting.
Chandler didn’t want her to suffer during her pregnancy.

He said, “Do something you enjoy. I can support you. Take a class for a hobby or have fun everywhere.”

cooked to survive.”

After a pause, he continued, “Besides cooking for you, has he done anything rude to you?”
He had been avoiding this question. He believed Meryl and was unwilling to put pressure on her or remind her of bad memories.
