Yancey shook his head and softly said, “It wasn’t anyone who hit me. I accidentally scraped myself.”
Anne frowned, “Do you think I’m an idiot? Scratches like that don’t happen by accident. Who hit you?”
Yancey’s gaze shifted to Bella, who was lying on the bed. He hadn’t expected Anne to bring Bella here.
“Is this Bella?”
