Ethan arrived after the disruptive passenger was removed. He looked worried.“Are you okay?” Julia, holding her flight bag, said, “I’m fine. Emily got slapped.”
Ethan was relieved. “Good. I have to go back.”
He was on duty. He rushed over after knowing something happened to Julia. Seeing her safe made him relieved. He needed to return to work.
Nulia watched him go, remembering his drunken behavior the other night. She smiled slightly.
Back at her apartment, she had a notification. It was a reply to her comment on the Instagram post.
The girl had no idea.
Julia felt sorry for the poster’s friend. He’d loved the girl for so long, and she didn’t even know about it. Just like her five–year secret relationship with Shaw- nobody knew except them.
Then, she received a video call from a colleague from Skyways.
Julia answered.“Tiffany, what’s up?”
Tiffany waved.“Can’t I just call you?”
Julia rubbed her temples.“What is it?”

“Fine, fine. You’re so cold. I want to tell you
Tiffany was a nice friend and she loved sharing.
“Don’t tell me about him anymore. I left Skyways,” Julia said. She didn’t care about him at all.
Tiffany insisted.“You absolutely want to hear this. Shaw is marrying Sierra.”
“That’s not surprising,” Julia said. Everyone at Skyways knew about Shaw’s love for Sierra; she was just a roadblock in their relationship.
“You’re too calm,” Tiffany said.“Aren’t
you angry?”
“Why would I be? It’s not my business,” Julia replied. She’d gotten over it. Her relationship with Shaw was something in the past; she was moving on.
“But you were a couple! You loved Shaw so much! You feel nothing at all?” Tiffany asked.
Julia smiled.“Tiffany, you really want to see me upset, don’t you? You’re right; we were a couple, and I loved Shaw. But now… I don’t.”
