She warned Henry, “If you hurt Sonya, I won’t forgive you!”
Henry laughed.“If I hurt her, you’ll kick me out and adopt her. Deal?”
“I’ll also chop off your limbs and chain you to a dog house so you can’t hurt anyone else!”
Benjamin stood silently, trying to find something to say.
“Dad, did you go for a walk last night?” Sonya asked.
Benjamin looked guilty.“Yes.”

Benjamin avoided answering, heading to the dining room.
