Sophie looked up in astonishment and met a stern face.
With a pronounced Adam’s apple, a perfectly defined jawline, Leo’s face was so vivid, close, and his deep eyes were filled with anger.
His hand still tightly protected Sophie.
The air was filled with a pungent smell of blood, but in the arms of the man, Sophie could only smell the enticing scent of pine.
She had waited for a long time, hoping that Leo would hug her, but she had never received a hug.
And now, she was in Leo’s arms, and his embrace was the same as five years ago, so broad and secure.
Suddenly, Sophie forgot to push the man away.

Sophie felt an inexplicable surge of anger.
When she needed protection the most, where was Leo? Now it was too late for him to play the hero!

“Doctor, call a doctor quickly!” Daniel panicked. “Mr. Walton, are you okay? Why did you get injured for someone like Sophie? She’s not worth it.”

“Miss Hades is a key cooperative partner for my company. If she gets injured and it delays our work progress, can you take responsibility?”
Leo’s voice was cold but it almost made the Michaels family members kneel down.
The situation was in chaos, and there was no trace of a wedding ceremony.
“Erika, you hurt someone, can’t you at least apologize?” His gaze was icy, and his imposing aura made everyone shudder.
“Erika, quickly apologize to Mr. Walton!” Daniel pulled his daughter.
Erika didn’t think she had done anything wrong. Her hair was disheveled, and she looked nothing like a
bride.
“Why should I apologize? Sophie ruined my wedding!” Her eyes were red, with a look wanting to kill Sophie.
“Erika, I’m here just to wish you a happy wedding. It’s not my business if Adrian doesn’t marry you. She spread her hands, her clear pupils full of innocence. “I didn’t do anything, I even brought a gift.”
