Chapter 32
It quickly became evening, and the place for tonight’s cooperation discussion was set at a club.
Sophie was accompanied by three people chosen for her by Stella, and they were all beautiful women.
The other party arrived late, accompanied by several tall and robust men. The leader appeared to be in his forties, slightly bald, and somewhat chubby.
As soon as he arrived, his gaze couldn’t move away from Sophie. “Is this Miss Hades? You’re even more beautiful than Miss Jacobson. Nice to meet you.”
“Hello, Mr. Jordan,” Sophie smiled, though her smile didn’t reach her eyes. She sensed that Mr. Jordan’s wandering hand touched her back when they shook hands.
They had dinner, during which Sophie had quite a bit to drink. Her tolerance for alcohol wasn’t bad, and Mr. Jordan seemed to be in no rush, as if waiting for his prey to fall into his trap.
On the other side, Matilda couldn’t wait any longer since she had that idea.
Knowing that Leo had an engagement tonight, she used all her connections to secure a seat for herself.
She boldly bribed a club server to add something to Leo’s drink.
She watched Leo drink it and her heart raced; she could already imagine the beauty of tonight.
She had always wanted to become Leo’s woman. He was so tall, mighty, and handsome. She believed that as long as she was patient, he would eventually fall for her.
Previously, Matilda wouldn’t have dared to be so audacious. She knew Leo’s temper, and he would surely get furious.
But this time, she couldn’t control herself; Sophie’s threat was too great, and she couldn’t care about so
much.
Leo usually had a good tolerance for alcohol, but tonight he hadn’t drunk much, and he felt a sudden heat surging through his body. Even ice water didn’t quench his thirst.
“Leo, is there something wrong with you somewhere? Do you need me to help you go to the side for a
rest?” Matilda noticed the change in Leo.
“No need!” Leo pushed her away.
The strange feeling in his body was becoming increasingly evident, and Leo also realized that something

was amiss.
He went to the restroom to splash cold water on his face. Behind him, Matilda followed
“Leo, I noticed that you seemed a bit off just now. Are you okay?” Matilda deliberately got closer, holding Leo’s hand. Her icy hand contrasted sharply with Leo’s burning temperature.
“Get out!” Leo had no patience.
He wasn’t a fool and had a pretty good idea of what Matilda had done.
“Leo, I just want to help you; I have no other intentions. I…”
Matilda reached out and embraced Leo’s waist, pressing her face against his back.
“Get lost!” Leo’s eyes turned bloodshot. Matilda, this woman, had been getting bolder recently, daring to plot against him.
He forcefully pushed Matilda away and walked out without hesitation.
Matilda was so scared by this version of Leo that it took her a couple of seconds to regain her senses. She quickly followed.
“Leo, Leo…”
But Leo was no longer at the dining table, and Matilda didn’t see him even after chasing outside.
She gritted her teeth; the dosage of the drug was quite heavy. If Leo had to endure it alone, it would be very painful. And if Leo sought someone else…
A flash of unwillingness crossed her eyes. If she failed this time, it would be difficult to find another
opportunity.
