The midday sun blazed down with fierce intensity, casting a brilliant glow across the landscape.
The sky, washed clean by the light, stretched endlessly, perfect expanse of clear blue.
A soft breeze drifted in from the sea, carrying the salty scent of the ocean and the steady rhythm of waves crashing against the shore.
The island, ancient and untouched, seemed to stretch on forever, its landscape shaped by countless years, each one blending seamlessly into the next.
Everything was tranquil, simple, and unpretentious, free from self–importance or reflections on life and death.
There were no illusions here, no unrealistic hopes or dreams.
All that had been, all that was, and all that was yet to come, were nothing more than the fleeting blooms of flowers, the opening and closing of chapters in a book.
Nothing mattered–there was no ambition, no selfishness, and certainly no room for futile longing.
The world was in a state of calm, untouched by the chaos of life.
The only movement in this quiet scene was the flight of birds, their wings slicing through the air, stirring à momentary emotion, as if time itself could be captured in their flight.
For a brief instant, everything seemed frozen, a quiet passage of life and death.
A sharp gust of wind cut through the air, rustling the lush vines of Duskhaven’s L2 Mystic Realm War Game Base.
The vines swayed gently in the breeze, creating a soothing rhythm.
At the far end, 80 elite teams stood motionless, their bodies rigid and unmoving, like statues carved from stone, their postures a mark of respect and silence.
The stillness was profound, as pure as the seagulls soaring high above the vast ocean, untouched by the corrupting influences of humanity.
Ryker, the Chief Assistant Designer of the Thalrex Order’s Advanced Science Department, had just announced the winner of the competition.
The crowd stood in silence, but this silence was far from peaceful–it was thick with resentment, anger, and unspoken conflict.
Dragon Soul Special Forces had claimed the title of top commander–in–chief through the most forceful of means, and many were left unsatisfied with the result.
Not all victories come with applause, and not all mediocrity is overlooked.
Underneath the calm exterior, dissatisfaction simmered in the hearts of 79 teams, a storm of emotion waiting to break.

Ryker, Chief Assistant Designer of the Thalrex Order’s Advanced Science Department, approached Robin with a formal salute.
“You are only the second commander in 20 years to be chosen as the top of the qualifying match by our department.
“Your daring and unconventional leadership, your ability to break from tradition, and, most importantly, your unwavering sense of duty make you a rare and invaluable talent in our eyes!
“From Area One to the final area, your team’s performance was flawless!
“Particularly after you earned the qualifying token, when disaster struck, you set aside selfish desires and led your comrades into harm’s way to save the lives of all the elite teams. That is the mark of a true leader, willing to sacrifice for the greater good.
“Such wisdom and selflessness in the face of catastrophe–that’s the true brilliance of a leader.”
Ryker glanced around at the other commanders–in–chief in the room, shrugging slightly.
“Sure, your performances were impressive, but beneath the surface, when it came to life and death, we saw selfishness and foolishness.
“The L1 Mystic Realm Finals is a different kind of challenge than L2. It’s a test that only a true commander can bear.
“That crown isn’t for just anyone to wear.
“If given to the incompetent, it would only bring more suffering to the world.
“Only those who are truly heroic are worthy of its weight.
“Those who stand tall and bear the world’s burdens must cast aside personal desires and false peace.
“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey of Dragon Soul Special Forces is that hero who rises to the occasion in the most desperate moments.

“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, we look forward to seeing you lead the world’s strongest teams and shine again in the LI Mystic Realm Finals tomorrow!”
Robin gave a small nod, indifferent. “General Irvin, your praise has only earned me more enemies. Looks like I’ll need to have a ‘talk‘ with them–using my fists.”
Ryker smirked. “When it comes to action, there’s no need for words–that’s how real men handle things.
–“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, if it comes to that, dont hold back! You’re now the most important figure
in the Thalrex Order, and we’ll take full responsibility for whatever happens.
“We’re all in agreement with you–respect is earned through actions, not words. Go ahead and show them what’s what!”
Robin patted Ryker on the shoulder. “We’ll see how things play out.”

Robin’s phone buzzed, and he glanced down to see a message from Kelsey, the newly appointed overseer of Qacalisle Island.
“Mr. Ramsey, Elodie’s parents, Ambrose and Dahlia, would like to meet with you about the Emberleaf Fan. Can you spare some time for a meeting? I’ll be accompanying them.”
There were also messages from Luella, inviting him to dinner…
Robin quickly checked the time and suggested they meet at the Island Restaurant at Duskhaven in an hour.
“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, congratulations!” Anton and Jethro called out as they walked up behind
him.
Between them stood a middle–aged man with a round face and glasses. His serious expression gave him a formal, almost intimidating air.
He appeared to be in his fifties, radiating authority and solemnity.
Anton stepped forward and introduced him. “Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, this is Mr. Kennard Morales, President of the Draconia Astronomical Technology Association.
“Mr. Morales also plays a key role as a core member of the technical division within the Thalrex Order.
“He’s come to Qacalisle Island from the Thalrex Order headquarters to guide Dragon Soul Special Forces through the upcoming operations after hearing about your entrance to the L1 Mystic Realm Semifinals.”
Robin and the Dragon Soul Special Forces members exchanged surprised looks. “It’s just a match. Why would they send someone like him to oversee things?”
Kennard’s face tightened in response. “Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, your attitude is reckless and unacceptable. I’m here as a representative of the association, and I must tell you–this mindset is dangerous.
“You’ve won the L2 Mystic Realm War Games, and thats an undeniable fact.
“But that doesn’t mean you should be proud or let it go to your head!
“This result, while a testament to your team’s efforts, is largely thanks to the support and operations of the scientific association.
“Without the association’s behind–the–scenes work, you wouldn’t have even made it into the top 20!
“From now on, Dragon Soul Special Forces must remain humble, focused, and ready to make any -necessary sacrifices. You should never become complacent, thinking that a small victory means
everything.”
Jethro and Anton exchanged uneasy glances as they listened to Kennard’s harsh lecture. They both instinctively looked to Robin for a response.
“D*mmit!” Robin’s eyes flashed with anger. “Who the hell do you think you are, coming in here talking like that?

“Are you saying that all the Dragon Soul Special Forces soldiers who risked their lives in the L2 mystic realm–who fought with everything they had–owe their success to you and your association?”
Kennard’s face reddened with fury. “Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, what’s with this attitude?”
“This is exactly the attitude I have!” Robin shot back. He turned to Gavin. “Get all the Dragon Soul soldiers back to the hotel now. They need to rest and prepare for tomorrow’s match.

“Yes, sir!” Gavin snapped into position. “All elite members of Dragon Soul Special Forces, head to the Island Restaurant in Duskhaven. Move out!”
The soldiers of Dragon Soul Special Forces moved as one, their steps sharp and full of confidence as they made their way toward the exit of the L2 mystic realm
Kennard’s face turned a deep shade of purple from rage. “Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, what do you think you’re doing? I’m trying to give you a speech, and you answer with arrogance? Get back here right now!”
“A speech?” Robin raised an eyebrow, clearly uninterested. “Who are you to be giving anyone a speech?”
“How dare you… ” Kennard’s voice shook with frustration. “You soldiers are so crude. I–I won’t lower myself to your level.” He clenched his fists, trying to maintain his composure. “I’m here as a representative of the higher–ups…
Robin let out a mocking laugh. “Don’t try that higher–up nonsense with me! Do you really think they’d send someone like you to give a speech?
“When Dragon Soul was struggling, where were you with your so–called ‘guidance‘?
“And now that we’ve achieved some success, you come out of nowhere to ‘guide‘ us? What are you even talking about?
“Are you going to teach us how to waste time? How to sit back and protect ourselves? How to game the system for profit?
“You’re just an office–bound theorist who’s never seen real combat, living your comfortable desk life, lecturing us with your ridiculous ideas. And you think you have the right to lecture my soldiers?
“Who the hell do you think you are?”
“How dare you talk to me like that!” Kennard’s body shook with rage. “Even if I’m here as a technical consultant, you cannot treat me this way.”
Robin pointed directly at Kennard’s face. “Don’t you see how exhausted they are after working nonstop for hours? You come here, living a cushy life just to get some attention for yourself.
“You didn’t even offer a word of concern. All you’ve done is lecture the Dragon Soul elite, who’ve been risking their lives for the last 20 hours!
“And then you have the audacity to say that their hard–earned victories are thanks to you and your precious association? What are you trying to pull here?
“You want to take credit for their achievements? This isn’t the place for that!
“Every one of these soldiers could teach you a thing or two, you little office politician, hiding behind the ‘higher–ups, acting like you’re the king of the world. You’re nothing!”
The Dragon Soul Special Forces members couldn’t hold back their laughter.

“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, how can you speak like this? I’m here to guide you, to correct your course, and this attitude is dangerous! I–it’s a serious ideological problem!” Kennard stammered.
“Trying to put me in my place now?” Robin grabbed Kennard’s raised arm and kicked his leg out. “Get back in line, soldier!
“If you want to escalate this, I’ll take care of it right here right now!
“I don’t care who you are. But make one thing clear: Don’t think you can pull that nonsense in front of me!
“I’ll say it once more: Don’t provoke me or my soldiers!
“Or you’ll regret it for the rest of your life, especially someone like you, who sits in a high position looking down on others.”
Two guards from the Technology Association stepped forward immediately. “How dare you speak to Mr. Morales like that! Mr. Morales is a world–renowned astronomer and thought leader! You’ll apologize this instant!”
The Dragon Soul Special Forces halted and turned toward the guards.
Gavin immediately barked, “Step back, now!”
The guards didn’t back down. “Mr. Morales is a respected international expert, and Commander–in–Chief Ramsey has disrespected him in the worst possible way Apologize immediately!”
With a sharp crack, Robin slapped the first guard hard, sending him stumbling backward.
“During an international military competition, we’re in wartime conditions!” Robin snapped.
“Gavin, announce the wartime protocols! Anyone who defies the command will be executed!”
Gavin stepped forward. “Anyone who threatens the commanding officer will face the highest punishment!
“Take them out and execute them!” Robin ordered coldly. Two officers quickly dragged the Technology Association guards out of the mystic realm.
“H–how could you kill them?” Kennard’s voice quivered in disbelief.
Robin wiped his hand with a wet towel, cleaning off the blood. “This is the price of crossing a commander You want to try it yourself?”
Before Kennard could respond, Gavin led the entire Dragon Soul Special Forces team out of the L2 mystic
realm base.
Kennard stood there, trembling with fury, watching them leave. “General Quintana, this Robin character is completely out of control. How could anyone think putting the Dragon Soul Special Forces under his command is a good idea? This is a disaster waiting to happen?
“TH contact the higher–ups immediately. This kind of reckless behavior, treating lives so carelessly, cannot be allowed to continue…

Kennard, still seething with anger, snapped back, “The Higher–ups sent me to offer guidance, and he dares to lay a hand on me?”
Jethro gave a dry laugh. “Mr. Morales, you’re overestimating your position. If you truly understood who you were dealing with, you’d realize that your rank, background, and status mean little here.
“Furthermore, the instructions I received were clear–you are a technical advisor. By virtue of your role, you have no right to interfere with Commander–in–Chief Ramsey’s leadership of Dragon Soul Special Forces.
“You certainly aren’t in a position to judge the success or failure of Dragon Soul Special Forces.”
“Wh–what does it matter?” Kennard muttered, frustration bubbling over.
“General Quintana, you’re from the prestigious Quintanas, the royal lineage of Lord Quintana. I’ve been in this field for years and participated in numerous international military competitions.
“To cut it short, if we don’t assert authority as commanders, these young soldiers will be lost. They believe their success is all due to their personal abilities, but that’s far from the truth. They need to realize that their achievements are not just from their own talent. Everything they’ve gained is thanks to the platform and the organization that provided them with the opportunity.
“Without that platform, no matter how capable they are, they wouldn’t have had the chance to excel.
“I need to make them understand that if they get the wrong idea, they can be replaced at any moment.”
Jethro chuckled softly. “Mr. Morales, I suggest you step back and reconsider your approach.
“Letting your narrow view of power get in the way will only harm and destabilize Dragon Soul Special
Forces.
“The higher–ups want Dragon Soul Special Forces to thrive, and that’s their priority.
“I recommend you stick to your role as a technical advisor. Leave these bigger matters alone.”
Kennard shook his head, disbelief in his voice. “Jethro, you’re thinking all wrong. How can we allow a young man to have so much unchecked power? This will end in disaster!
“We need to force him to follow our guidance!
“I’ll reach out to the relevant authorities back home right away!”
Chapter 993 The Youth of Their Generation Are the True Foundation
Jethro’s brow tightened as if he wanted to say more, but when he saw Kennard and his team of aides still fuming with anger, clearly determined to make Robin suffer for what had happened, he sighed and decided not to continue.
Anton lowered his voice. “General Quintana, should we try to reason with Mr. Morales once more? If this escalates, he could find himself in serious trouble…”
Jethro raised a hand, signaling Anton to stop. “Everyone must be accountable for their actions.
“Kennard is no longer a young man. At his age, he should know better. He’s capable of making his own decisions.”
Anton hesitated before continuing. “But he is an important figure in the Thalrex Order’s high–tech division. If his displeasure with Mr. Ramsey causes problems, could it negatively impact the final results for Dragon Soul Special Forces?”
“Then his career–and possibly his life–will be over,” Jethro replied with a cold smile. “The higher–ups have stressed that internal disagreements are normal. They’re just part of the job. They have nothing to do ⚫ with factions or personal conflicts.
“Discussions and debates are what help us improve and achieve our goals. But they must always be for the greater good and benefit everyone.
“Anything else—any hidden agendas or selfish motives leads to failure.
“Pretending to serve the people while secretly chasing power for personal gain is nothing more than manipulation. It goes against the true way of virtue.
“Kennard’s minor achievements in astronomy have earned him praise for years. But now, he’s blinded by his own ambition, refusing to listen to reason. He’ll stop at nothing to make himself the center of attention, even if it means sacrificing others. That kind of behavior–not even Mr. Ramsey would tolerate it–I have no respect for it!
“The higher–ups didn’t send him here to interfere with Dragon Soul Special Forces‘ decisions. He was just supposed to offer technical guidance.
“Kennard’s sole aim is to take credit for the success of Dragon Soul Special Forces.”
Anton shook his head with a knowing smile. “If Kennard thinks that, he’s delusional. This generation of Dragon Soul Special Forces is not some group he can manipulate.
“He has no idea that this year’s Commander–in–Chief of Dragon Soul Special Forces is Master Ramsey of Dragon Palace, a senior officer with two gold stars./
“And Commander Brooks is a major general and has strong ties to Dragon Palace.
“Among the other nine elite members, four are royal descendants, two come from military families, and three are the children of national heroes.
“Each of them possesses a clear, unwavering mindset. They are the true military elites–future pillars of Draconia’s strength.

of the organization.
“The youth of their generation are the true foundation of Dragon Soul’s future–the ones who will carry on the legacy of the kingdom, once defended by the sacrifices of millions.
“Compared to them, Kennard and his group not only fall short in background but in virtue as well.
“If he thinks he can use these brilliant younger members to advance his own career, he’s heading straight for failure.”
Jethro nodded. “We can’t stop things from running its course–let him do what he wants.
“Mr. Mickton, I’ve heard that Kennard’s daughter is here with him on Qacalisle Island, and she’s even staying in the premium suites of Dragon Soul Special Forces’s quarters. Is that true?”
Anton glanced at Kennard in the distance and sighed. “Yes, that’s true.
“His personal assistant told me that his daughter has been wanting to live abroad for a long time, but the paperwork kept getting delayed.
“This time, Kennard used his connections to set her up with a Hawklorean suitor.
“And to top it off, he arranged this international matchmaking event on the romantic Qacalisle Island. I believe it’s happening today–she was on the phone this morning, saying it’s at the Island Restaurant in Duskhaven.
“This Simone Morales has caused quite a stir back home. She’s been involved with several highborn young men … ”
Jethro slapped Anton on the back with a smile. “I only asked about the situation, and now you’re gossiping. Let’s go, we’re heading back to the hotel.”
Seeing that Jethro and Anton weren’t planning on handling Robin the way he expected, Kennard turned to his diplomatic attaché, Jackson.
“Mr. Pryce, when we get back to the hotel, contact the domestic office immediately. Report Robin’s actions and ensure they coordinate with the relevant departments for a thorough investigation.
“This is my first major directive since arriving on Qacalisle Island.
“It’s my responsibility to ensure Dragon Soul Special Forces is on the right path.
“And include my recommendation: If Robin’s attitude doesn’t change and he continues down this road, I suggest we strip him of his commander–in–chief title by tonight.
“Otherwise, Dragon Soul Special Forces will lose its direction under his leadership, and the consequences -could be catastrophic.”
Jackson stood frozen for a moment after hearing Kennard’s impassioned speech about Robin and Dragon Soul.
When he finally regained his composure, he hurriedly waved his hand. “Mr. Morales, I can’t do that. I’m just a diplomatic attaché, and I have no authority to interfere with Commander–in–Chief Ramsey or

“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey’s leadership is directly under the highest command, and even General Quintana and Mr. Mickton are in assistant roles. As a low–ranking attaché, I can’t report anything beyond my level.
“Furthermore, Dragon Soul Special Forces, led by Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, has been designated as the core team by the Thalrex Order.
“This means even General Quintana doesn’t have the power to replace Commander–in–Chief Ramsey.
“Mr. Morales, the Mystic Realm War Games are at a critical stage right now. I strongly advise against internal conflicts. That will only hurt the ones truly dedicated to the team!
“Please, set aside personal agendas and focus all our energy on tomorrow’s L1 Mystic Realm Semifinals!”
“This is only the second time in 20 years that Draconia has had a shot at taking first place in the international military skills competition organized by the Thalrex Order.
“You need to understand, this competition holds immense significance, not just for us, but for the world. Regional and global leaders are watching closely, and our superiors in Draconia are especially invested in the outcome.
“Any misuse of your power for personal gain, to assert dominance, won’t be tolerated back home.
“You’ve been in this position for a long time. You should know the value of knowing when to push forward and when to hold back.
“And one more thing–some people should be left alone. You wouldn’t want to go down that path … ”
“Go down what path?” Kennard snapped back, his face flushed with anger. “Jackson, you’ve lost your mind!

“My assistant team has sent me alarming reports about Robin. According to some sources, he’s responsible for senseless killings and uses extreme methods. Not to mention, his past is full of questionable actions Kennard’s fury erupted.
Jackson calmly shook his head, cutting him off. “Mr. Morales, I don’t want to continue this conversation.
“The people you’re referring to–I don’t even know who they are. But what I do know is that wherever there’s slander, false accusations, or underhanded tactics, that’s where these ‘some people‘ tend to appear.

Chapter 994 Just Sit Here and Take It While They Humiliate Us
Kennard was taken aback. He had never expected Jackson, typically so compliant and respectful, to outright refuse him.
Though irritated, the experienced politician quickly shifted his tactics.
“Jackson, I’ve dedicated my life to serving the country and its people, always putting the public’s interests above all else.
“Now, as I’m here on Qacalisle Island, I’m concerned about Robin. He’s young, inexperienced, and lacks clarity in his actions–that uncertainty has caused these problems.
“As you witnessed, I barely made a few remarks on ideological issues, and he had two of my bodyguards
killed under wartime rules.
“Do you grasp the gravity of this? This incident will tarnish my reputation here on Qacalisle Island …”
Jackson waved his hand dismissively, his tone almost bored. “Mr. Morales, enough. My position here is far too small to compare to yours. I don’t pretend to understand your political maneuvers.
“I’m just a diplomatic attaché serving you and others like you. I have no intention of getting involved in matters beyond my scope.”
Kennard scoffed, his face darkening. “Jackson, do you not see the consequences of handling this so passively?”
“Mr. Morales, consequences no longer matter. Once the competition on Qacalisle Island is over, I’ll return) to my country and step down,” Jackson said with a bitter smile.
“These last few days have made me realize that someone like me, with no true connections, doesn’t belong in this high circle.
“Sticking to my principles might lead to my downfall,” he continued, his voice heavy. “Going along with things may bring short–term satisfaction, but in the end, you’ll find yourself with nowhere to go.
“After I return, I plan to rest at the hospital. Years of strain have caught up with me, and I’m close to illness.”
Jackson gave Kennard one last wave before heading toward the exit of the mystic realm.
Kennard’s eyes narrowed, a cold, dangerous glint flashing in them as he barked an order to his assistant.
“This afternoon, have them set up a technical briefing for the mystic realm competition. It’ll be at 7:00 PM tonight, at Duskhaven Hotel.”
As Kennard stepped out of the mystic realm, he stopped in his tracks.
The commanders–in–chief of the various régional teams were blocking Robin’s path.
The air was thick with tension, and a confrontation seemed imminent.

Kennard let out a dry chuckle. “Robin’s arrogance has brought this upon us. It was entirely predictable.”
“Mr. Morales, should we contact the Thalrex Order officials to mediate? Things could escalate fast if we don’t.”

“If he doesn’t manage this right, I’ll report it to the higher–ups back home. Heh…
Reynold, the commander–in–chief of the Centraline Special Forces, stepped forward, clearly angry. “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, I have serious issues with how your forces claimed the top titles! You didn’t show true strength, and I suspect foul play!
“If it weren’t for your chaotic tactics, we would’ve been the champions!”
Nester Crepsley, the commander–in–chief of Vailia’s forces, nodded in agreement. “General Frost is right.
“Even though we lost our chance to qualify for the L1 Mystic Realm Semifinals, as a soldier, I have no respect for the Dragon Soul Special Forces‘ sporadic displays of strength in the mystic realm.
“I seriously question your team’s capabilities.”
Alexander, the commander–in–chief of Tanqueria Special Forces, shrugged. “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, I agree with what they’re saying. I share the same doubts.
“You may have had some good moments, but the true strength you should be showing doesn’t quite add up.”
Robin glanced at the commanders, their frustration evident, then checked the time.
“Gentlemen, it seems you doubt the strength of Dragon Soul Special Forces,” he said calmly.
“But how can we prove ourselves?”
Alexander immediately spoke up. “Simple. With your fists!”
“That’s right, fists are the true measure of strength!”
“Is Dragon Soul Special Forces brave enough to back up their strength with their fists?”
The commanders laughed, eager for a fight.
Robin nodded thoughtfully. “I see now. Since you all believe fists are the true test of strength, let’s settle this with fists.

Cary from the Sakuranian Special Forces, the Vailian Special Forces, and numerous other teams all began shouting together, creating a chaotic scene.
Watching from a distance, Kennard couldn’t hide a smirk that slowly spread across his face, a twisted sense of satisfaction taking over. “When chaos strikes, storms follow. And when someone’s reckless, trouble is sure to follow,” he muttered, his gaze focused on the brewing tension.
Anton, standing next to him, spoke up with a nonchalant tone, “It won’t be Mr. Ramsey who falls here–it’ll be them.
“Didn’t you see his eyes? He’s been waiting for a reason to teach these fools a lesson.”
Kennard’s face immediately darkened with concern. “That cannot happen.
“We can’t let him do something so rash!”
Jethro, who stood nearby, let out a low chuckle. “Why would we stop him?
“Why hold back when these fools are begging for it? They’re nothing special–they should be asking for mercy!
“Do they think they can push us around and not get a lesson in return? Are we supposed to just sit here and take it while they humiliate us?
“Zayden, Trix!” Jethro barked, pointing at the two guards from Lord Quintana’s residence. “If Mr. Ramsey throws a punch, you two step in!
“If they don’t learn their lesson, these b*stards will think Dragon Soul is weak!”
Kennard’s expression turned pale, panic creeping in. “General Quintana, you can’t make things worse like this!”
Jethro’s gaze grew colder. “What’s this? Are you telling me how to handle things?”
Kennard stammered nervously, “General Quintana, that’s not what I meant … I just think this could upset
“Enough!” Jethro snapped, his face darkening with irritation. “This is a matter for Lord Quintana’s residence, not for you to decide!
“What kind of people would we be if we just stood by while these scoundrels ganged up on Commander- in–chief Ramsey?”
“But…” Before anyone could act, Robin’s voice rang out, addressing the commanders with a challenge. “Alright, if you all have a problem, come at me together Let’s finish this quickly!”
Before they even had time to react, Robin was a blur of motion.
Reynold from the Centraline Special Forces and Nester from the Vailian Special Forces were the first to be sent flying by the force of Robin’s punch.
Without hesitation, Robin plunged into the fray, throwing powerful punches, his movements wild and relentless as he fought against the group of commanders.
Chapter 995 The Dragon Soul Special Forces Never Apologize!
Zayden, Trix, and two guards from the Lord Quintana’s residence charged forward into the fray. “Commander–in–chief Ramsey, let’s handle this together!” they shouted.
“This is my fight. Everyone, stay back!” Robin’s voice rang out, sharp and commanding, cutting through the chaos.
Without even turning to face Simmond, the commander of King Hawk Special Forces, charging at him from behind, Robin swung his leg out in a powerful motion, sending Simmond crashing to the ground in one swift move.
“But-” Zayden and the others started to protest, wanting to join the fight.
Robin’s voice boomed, “No buts! This is between me and them–keep out of it! If you don’t follow orders, I’ll deal with you right here on the battlefield!”
“Understood!” Zayden and the others quickly backed off, retreating to stand with Jethro and Anton.
Jethro watched Robin in the thick of the battle, his presence fierce and unrelenting, like a tiger charging ⚫ through a pack of wolves. He shook his head and grinned.
“General Quintana, Commander–in–chief Ramsey refuses our help,” Zayden said as he returned to the
group.
“That’s because he doesn’t want us dragged into this mess,” Anton remarked, casting a glance at Kennard and his team. “He knows someone will try to twist this into something bigger.”
Jethro gave a cool smile. “This is nothing for Ramsey. I only had you step in to show them that he’s not alone in this. If it comes to it, we’ll back him up and take down those who dared provoke him.”
Kennard, pacing frantically like an animal trapped in a cage, couldn’t believe what was happening. This wasn’t at all what he’d expected–how could such chaos erupt over something that was supposed to be a friendly competition?
If this gets out, it’ll cause a huge uproar!
Meanwhile, in the thick of the fighting, Robin was a blur of motion, his fists landing with brutal precision.
Several commanders were already down, some knocked senseless, others bleeding, or ever missing teeth.
Yet, the battle–hardened elites of the various teams showed no fear. They charged at Robin, refusing to back down, like wild animals in a frenzy.
Kennard was beside himself, pacing even faster, his frustration growing. “Jethro, you’re letting Robin get away with this! This will lead to a major crisis!
“How can we let this go on? We can’t start fighting with our supposed allies!
“This is complete lawlessness!
“I never wanted to report Robin to the higher–ups…” Kennard’s voice rose with anger. “But now, it’s clear- Robin is a ticking time bomb. He needs to be handled properly!”

Thalrex Order’s High–Tech Division, approaching the exit of the mystic realm. The convoy was barely 30 feet away from where Robin was battling the commanders.
If General Irvin sees this, it’ll be a disaster!
Kennard’s heart raced, panic setting in as he watched the scene unfold.
Oh, my god. This is madness! he thought, barely able to breathe.
In the midst of the chaos, Robin delivered a devastating punch to Paul, the commander–in–chief of Kangaroo Special Forces.
Paul’s massive form flew through the air and crashed into one of Ryker’s personal vehicles with a sickening
thud.
One by one, commanders from various teams—including Maple Special Forces, Elairan Special Forces, Peacock Kingdomo’s Special Forces, Sakuranian Special Forces, Demberoa’s Special Forces, and Vailian Special Forces were sent flying by Robin’s relentless fists. Their bodies slammed into the car as they were knocked down.
Thankfully, Ryker’s vehicle was built with special materials designed by the High–Tech Division, strong enough to withstand armor–piercing rounds.
Despite the tremendous force of each impact, the car held up, unscathed.
Inside the vehicle, however, Ryker wasn’t faring as well. The constant impacts rocked the car, sending violent tremors through the cabin.
Having heard about this Dragon Soul commander–in–chief during his journey to Qacalisle Island, Ryker knew that Robin’s abilities were formidable.
But seeing it firsthand was an entirely different experience. Robin was far stronger than the stories had suggested.
Four of Ryker’s guards quickly exited the vehicle, weapons drawn and ready for action.
Meanwhile, Robin, relentless in his pursuit, chased Cary all the way to Ryker’s car.
Cary, battered and bruised, scrambled to hide behind Ryker’s vehicle, desperate to escape Robin’s next crushing blow.

“Move!” Robin snarled, roughly shoving Ryker, who had just regained his balance, to the ground.
With lightning speed, Robin seized Cary by the collar and unleashed a brutal series of punches. “Do you yield?”
Cary, bloodied and barely able to stand, gritted his teeth and spat defiantly, “I won’t give up! I won’t…. yield!”
Robin’s cold eyes gleamed with a cruel satisfaction as a sinister smile tugged at his lips. He showed no niercy. Another vicious barrage of punches landed on Cary.
Barely conscious, Cary, gasping for air, finally croaked, General Ramsey, I yield!”
Without a second thought, Robin tossed Cary aside like a ragdoll, then turned his gaze toward Reynold.

Reynold’s eyes widened in terror, and his body swayed as he stumbled back, attempting to escape.
But Robin was faster. In an instant, he launched himself through the air, delivering a powerful kick to Reynold’s chest.
Then, his leg snapped out again, wrapping around Reynold’s neck in a swift, calculated move.
With a sickening thud, Reynold hit the ground hard.
Robin didn’t hesitate. He sprang into the air, his knee descending with terrifying force toward Reynold’s chest.
In a panic, Reynold crossed his arms in a futile attempt to shield himself, his voice cracking with desperation. “General Ramsey, you’re the strongest of all. You’re the top commander–in–chief. I yield!”
Just as Robin’s knee was about to crush Reynold, he expertly shifted his aim, slamming his knee into the earth beside Reynold’s face with a deafening roar.
The ground shattered beneath the impact, sending Reynold flying 10 feet into the air before crashing back to the earth in a crumpled heap.
Reynold lay there, staring at the massive crack in the ground left by Robin’s knee, his body drenched in
sweat.
He knew if he hadn’t surrendered when he did, his ribs would’ve been shattered, and worse, his life might’ve ended in that very moment.
The plaza in front of the mystic realm’s entrance was now a scene of total chaos.
Over 70 commanders–in–chief lay scattered, defeated, their pride broken.
Alexander, struggling to rise, winced as he touched his swollen jaw, then made a move to leave.
“Alexander, stop!” Robin’s voice rang out, booming through the silence like a clap of thunder.
Alexander paused, turning to face him. “H–hey, we’re allies. I–I’ve seen your power. It’s enough. I respect it. I’m done here. Please, show mercy.”
Pierre, who had just managed to get back on his feet, let out a rough laugh. “Alexander, I can’t believe my ears. You’re begging now? Never thought I’d live to see the day!”
Alexander shook his head, still in disbelief. “He’s insane Absolutely insane! I’m done with this. That’s a death wish!”
By now, the plaza outside the mystic realm’s entrance was deathly quiet.
The remaining commanders–in–chief, their faces ashen with shock, watched in awe as Robin stood in their midst, an embodiment of unmatched dominance.
There was nothing left to say. How could anyone possibly challenge Robin’s ironclad position as the undisputed top commander–in–chief of the L1 mystic realm?
Kennard, his face red with panic, hurried toward Ryker bowing deeply.

The commanders–in–chief from across the globe stood in stunned silence, watching the chaotic scene unfold before them.
They exchanged confused glances, looking at Kennard and his team of Draconians, who seemed to be aligned with Robin. Yet, they couldn’t fathom why Kennard would apologize on behalf of Dragon Soul Special Forces.
“Why would Dragon Soul Special Forces apologize?” Mona from the Scentialand Poison Poppy Squad asked, her brow furrowed in genuine confusion.
“Dragon Soul Special Forces earned our admiration with their bravery and intelligence in the L2 Mystic Realm competition. Why would they apologize to the Thalrex Order?” she continued, clearly puzzled.
“Are you protesting against the Thalrex Order?”
Kennard, his anger momentarily simmering down, suddenly adopted a false charm, his voice dripping with insincerity. “Ah, you must be Ms. Shay from Scentialand?
“I’m not filing a complaint to the Thalrex Order,” he continued with a coy grin. “I’m simply shocked and furious that our Commander–in–Chief Ramsey would actually lash out against you all!”
“You’re angry?” Mona smirked, clearly amused by his fake charm. She burst into laughter, her body shaking with the intensity of it.
Her exaggerated laughter sent a chill down Kennard’s spine. Her taunts made him lose his composure for a brief moment, a crack in his otherwise controlled facade.
“M–Ms. Shay, shouldn’t I be angry?” he stammered, fumbling for words.
Mona raised a hand to her lips, smiling seductively, her gaze making Kennard’s heart race. She’s far more captivating than my assistant!
“Enough!” Robin’s voice sliced through the air like a sharp blade, his tone cold and commanding. “Back to your place!”
Mona’s laughter died instantly. She shot Robin a fearful look, recognizing the danger in his gaze.
This young commander was unlike anyone she had ever encountered. He was like a predator, and angering him could lead to her death in an instant.
“I’m sorry, Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, I was wrong Mona muttered, quickly turning and strutting away, her toned figure swaying with each step.
Kennard, eager to continue his flirtation with the “Poison Poppy Queen,” watched in frustration as Mona disappeared, moving with the speed of a frightened rabbit.
He swallowed hard, a sneer curling on his lips as he turned to face Robin. “What’s the deal here?!
“Do you have any idea what you’re doing is tarnishing our reputation?
“I have every right to apologize to General Irvin of the Thalrex Order and the other commanders for your irrational and disruptive behavior!

“Consequences?” Robin calmly wiped his hands with a wet cloth, his expression serene as he stared down Kennard.
“Am I supposed to bear the consequences of dealing with a pack of wolves who came knocking at my door? Did you get kicked in the head by a mule?
“You’ve lived like a dog for so long you’ve forgotten your place, and now you’re barking at me like a mad animal. Are you looking to die?” Robin sneered.
“Get lost!”
Kennard, humiliated in front of so many, trembled with rage, his face red with fury.
“Fine! Fine! You’ve gone mad, Robin! I’ll make you pay for this! You’ll face justice!”
With a sharp crack, Kennard was knocked to the ground.
Robin tossed the wet cloth in his face. “If you’re determined to die, I’ll be happy to oblige!”
Kennard clutched his bleeding mouth, his bodyguards rushing to help him up.
“General Irvin, I suggest the Thalrex Order expels this man.
“Once I get back, I’ll report this incident in full to the higher–ups!”
Ryker shrugged, his expression unbothered. “Mr. Morales, I don’t understand why you’re so harsh on your own people.
“Commander–in–Chief Ramsey acted perfectly reasonably.
“When faced with provocation, you fight back. How does that justify an apology? Should we apologize and pay for compensation every time we’re insulted or humiliated?
“Your reasoning is hard to follow.”
“General Irvin, my point is that this approach will only have terrible consequences and will destroy the harmony between us.”
Ryker shrugged again, a quiet chuckle escaping him. “Mr. Morales, harmony, friendship, and respect aren’t earned through begging and apologizing. They’re earned through strength, character, and actions.
“The world is strange. All respect and admiration come from being untouchable, not from being soft.
“Kindness, yielding, even flattery and sycophantic behavior, will only lead you to betrayal and rejection, leaving you as a forgotten fool.”
Kennard furrowed his brow, clearly confused. “General Irvin, I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. What I mean is, someone like Robin doesn’t belong in the Tharex Order.

“You better be ready for the consequences!”
Kennard was stunned into silence.
He had never imagined that despite all his attempts at flattery, he would not only fail to bring Robin down but would end up humiliating himself.
“General Irvin, please, hear me out…
Ryker ignored him, instead giving Robin a friendly pat on the shoulder. “From what I saw earlier, you’ve got potential. Make sure to prepare well. I’m expecting even more impressive results from you in tomorrow’s competition.”
Robin chuckled softly before turning toward the commanders of the regional teams. “All commanders–in- chief of the 20 teams participating tomorrow, gather your troops and head back to the hotel for some rest!
“Line up! Let’s head to Duskhaven Hotel!”
The regional commanders quickly organized their squads and made their way to the hotel.
Kennard, unable to believe his eyes, watched in disbelief as these foreign leaders obeyed Robin’s orders without hesitation.
At the Island Restaurant in Duskhaven.
Robin stepped out of the car and entered the restaurant, choosing a quiet corner near the window. As he gazed out at the sunset over the island, a wave of nostalgia swept over him, as if he had been transported to another era.
He imagined his father, the Young Lord Dragon, standing here 20 years ago, feeling the same breeze. A deep sense of longing filled him.
Only by securing the best results in the LI Mystic Realm War Games and earning a spot in the Thalrex Order’s Summit Meeting could he uncover the mysteries of his father’s past and what happened at Dragon Manor all those years ago.
Cyril had hinted that the Emberleaf Fan, a gift from Sergio and Jenna to Young Lord Dragon during the military exercises two decades ago, might hold the key to unlocking his father’s fate.
“Oh, you’re already here? Not bad–looking at all.”
A woman wearing a sunhat slid into the seat across from Robin.

Simone’s voice, though not loud, shattered the calm of the Island Restaurant, drawing attention with its sharp tone.
Bored tourists, who had been minding their own business, started to take notice of her incessant chatter about the arranged marriage.
Their eyes quickly shifted to the striking man sitting across from her. He seemed to command the room without even trying–with a face that could only be described as chiseled, a powerful yet elegant build, and an undeniable aura of sophistication that made him seem otherworldly.
His eyes, deep and magnetic, seemed to contain the secrets of the cosmos–the stars, the oceans, and even the very heavens themselves. He wasn’t just any man; he exuded an almost divine presence, as if he were a celestial being, one that even the gods themselves might bow down to.
So how could this woman, sitting before him, speak so dismissively? To treat such a captivating man as if he were nothing but a naive fool, chasing unattainable dreams? If anyone was out of place here, it was her.
Several powerful and wealthy women in the restaurant exchanged looks, clearly ready to act.
They were waiting for Simone to make another misstep, and if she did, they would use their influence to ensure she paid for it.
“You’ve got the wrong person,” Robin finally said, his eyes lifting from his phone to address her.
“Are you actually brushing me off?” Simone froze, caught off guard by his indifferent tone.
She had expected him to jump up, clear the table, and eagerly stand at her side, ready to comply with her every whim. But that’s not what was happening.
Her temper flared. Gripping her water glass, she slammed it onto the table, causing it to rattle violently.
Robin raised an eyebrow. “I’ll say it one more time. You’ve mistaken me for someone else. Leave. Now.”
Simone narrowed her eyes, sizing him up before a sly smile spread across her face. “Haha. I see. You’re embarrassed now, aren’t you? Or is it my beauty and my family background that has you tongue–tied?
“My father mentioned you had some accomplishments from your time at Hawklore,” she continued, leaning in with a playful gleam in her eyes. “Although your background might not be the most prestigious, my father doesn’t mind that.”
She leaned even closer. “He says you’re talented, and that you’ve gained recognition from the Hawklore’s royal family. That’s why I’m here–to see if what they say is true.
“If you can follow the Morales family’s lead and treat me like a queen, maybe I’ll consider getting to know you.”
She paused for effect, her eyes glinting with mischief. Money won’t be an issue. My father has been in powerful positions for years. Our family’s wealth is beyond measure. To put it simply, our overseas accounts alone are in the 11–figure range.
“Oh!” she added, kicking her shoe under the table toward him. “My shoe fell off. How about you get on your knees and put it back on for me? Let’s see if you can impress me with that.

Robin glanced at the shoe, then back at her. Without a word, he motioned for a waiter. “Get this delusional woman out of here.”
Within moments, the restaurant staff, accompanied by two security guards, arrived. “Miss, please, keep the noise down and respect the other guests.”
Annoyed, Simone waved them off. “If my father hears about this, you’ll all be out of jobs. Don’t think you’re safe just because you’re not in my country.”
Her eyes gleamed with malice. “I know plenty of ways to handle people like you. Maybe tomorrow, the whole world will read about your scandal–maybe something about drugs, or a hotel mishap

Two of the security guards stepped forward, trying to defuse the situation. “Miss, please lower your voice.”
“Shut up!” Simone snapped. “Do you really think I can’t buy this entire place with a single phone call? You all will be out of work!”
She turned her attention back to Robin, her voice dripping with scorn. “Get down on your knees and put my shoe on. Otherwise, tomorrow, your career will be over.”
The security guards moved in, prepared to act. “Miss, please leave immediately.”
At that moment, bodyguards from the Morales family entered, pushing the restaurant staff aside.
Simone pointed toward the bodyguards, her voice cold and commanding. “Buy this restaurant right now. Fire these useless people.”
“Who’s the one talking about buying my restaurant?” a calm voice called from the doorway. Luella entered, her gaze coolly assessing Simone. “Oh? You’ve got the money to back up those words? Show me the cash, and it’s yours.”
Simone gave her a dismissive look, taking in her modest appearance. “You own this place? Fine. How much?”
Luella’s lips curled into a faint smile. “One trillion dollars. Pay up, and you can have it. You can fire anyone you want.”
“One trillion?” Simone’s eyes widened in disbelief. “You’ve got to be kidding.”
Luella scoffed. “Don’t come here throwing around your weight if you can’t back it up with actual money. If Mr. Ramsey were like you, he’d already own the world.
Simone opened her mouth, ready to retaliate, but the moment she saw ten well–built bodyguards, armed and poised to strike, her confidence faltered.
They were on a private island in international waters, far beyond Draconia’s reach. These men could end –her life in seconds without consequence.
Frozen in place, Simone glared at Robin. “You’ve wasted my time, and now I’m beyond angry!” she shouted.
“Put my shoes on and apologize, or I’ll make sure my father hears about today!”
Robin raised an eyebrow lazily. “You’ve got the wrong person. Ask your dad who I really am when you get home.

Fuming, she spun around and stormed toward the exit
“Stop!” Luella’s voice rang out coldly, halting Simone mid–step. “Apologize to Mr. Ramsey and my staff!”
“Why should I apologize to them?!” Simone hissed, her face flushed with fury.
In an instant, the sound of a knife slicing through the air echoed. One of the bodyguards had cut off a lock of Simone’s hair with a sharp dagger.
Simone stood frozen, fear flooding her senses as the bravado drained from her body. Without a second thought, she quickly bowed. “I’m sorry. Truly sorry…
“Leave,” Luella commanded with a dismissive wave of her hand. Simone, flanked by her bodyguards, hastily retreated from the restaurant.
Only when they were far enough from the building did Simone stop and turn back, her eyes filled with venom. “Did I really make a mistake?”
She turned to her bodyguard. “Find out who that man is. I want him destroyed, beyond redemption!”
Back inside the restaurant, Luella led Robin to the most luxurious private room on the second floor.
Since Kelsey had taken charge, her appearance and demeanor had transformed, though her eyes still held the warmth and innocence they’d had when they first met.
Upon entering the room, Ambrose and Dahlia immediately bowed in front of Robin. “Mr. Ramsey, thank you!” they said in unison.
“The Emberleaf Fan should be returned to you,” Ambrose added. “This was the wish of that noble from Draconia all those years ago…

“Mr. and Mrs. Clem, please, take a seat and relax,” Robin said kindly, helping Ambrose and Dahlia to their feet and guiding them to sit comfortably.
“Mr. Ramsey, 20 years ago, a noble from Draconia entrusted us with something important,” Ambrose began, his voice filled with the weight of past memories
“This noble came to our house the night before he left Qacalisle Island. He asked us to hold on to an item of great importance for him.”
Ambrose and Dahlia both turned to Kelsey and Luella, bowing respectfully. “Ms. Luella, Ms. Pierpoint, please excuse us for a moment, we need to speak with Mr. Ramsey in private.
“The noble specifically instructed us that no one should know about this–not even my daughter, Elodie.”
Robin nodded, signaling to Kelsey and Luella to leave and motioning for the guards to ensure no one approached during their conversation.
Once the room was clear, Ambrose carefully pulled out a small, oval bronze box from his coat pocket.
“Mr. Ramsey,” Ambrose said, his hands shaking slightly as he held the box, “the noble gave us this box the -night before his departure. He told us it contained the Emberleaf Fan.
“He asked us to keep it safe and promised that, when the time was right, he would return for it.
“And if he couldn’t come himself, someone else would come in his place.
“This person would be wearing an emerald pendant engraved with the words ‘Golden Dragon. We were told to hand the box over to him.
“We’ve been waiting for 20 years…”
་་
Ambrose’s voice faltered as he continued, “At that time, Sadie took the emerald pendant from Elodie, unaware that we had a second box with the Emberleaf Fan inside.
“The noble had told me that this box was even more critical than the fan, so I kept it safe, waiting for the day when he–or the person meant to claim it–would come for it.
“But no one ever did.
“Years went by, and I thought I’d never see the person who was supposed to take the box.
“Whenever someone from your country visited the island, I tried to approach them, hoping for a clue. I asked many times about the noble, but no one knew anything.
“Then, one day at Sadie’s house, I saw the emerald pendant you wear, Mr. Ramsey.
“It had the same ‘Golden Dragon‘ engraving.
“Right then, it all clicked. I remembered exactly what the noble had told me.
“I asked Kelsey to help me contact you.

Robin took the pendant from around his neck and handed it to Ambrose. The elderly man’s hands trembled as he held it, his face overcome with emotion
“Mr. Ramsey, you’re the one I’ve been waiting for!
“From the moment you arrived on Qacalisle Island, helping us rid ourselves of the people who killed my daughter, and doing so much good for the island, I knew you were the one who was meant to come for this box.
“And there’s something else, even more important–you look so much like that noble from Draconia.
“I don’t ask too many questions, but I believe you must be connected to him in some way.”
“By giving this box to you, I’m finally fulfilling the promise I made 20 years ago.
“Mr. Ramsey, both the Emberleaf Fan and this box belong to you. You know as well as I do that keeping the fan here would bring nothing but trouble.”
Robin took the box from Ambrose, contemplating for a moment. He had planned to return the fan to them, but they insisted he keep it.
“Mr. Ramsey, now that Kelsey is in charge, the corrupt aristocrats who once oppressed us have been removed by Ms. Luella. Our lives are improving, and we no longer need wealth the way we once did.
“Please, take the Emberleaf Fan.”
After a brief pause, Robin accepted the fan. He knew Ambrose was right–leaving these items in their possession could only lead to disaster.
Later that evening, after dinner with Ambrose, Dahlia, Luella, and Kelsey, Robin returned to Duskhaven Hotel.
As soon as he stepped into the lobby, a woman’s furious scream echoed through the space behind him.
“You’ve got some nerve, following me here!
“Stop right there! What happened at the Island Restaurant isn’t over. Apologize to me right now, or I’ll make sure you regret it!”
Robin stopped in his tracks.
It’s Simone, that lunatic.
Robin glanced at Simone, who was standing in his way, fuming with fury, and smirked coldly. “Step aside.”
“Step aside?” Simone let out a sharp, mocking laugh. “This isn’t the Island Restaurant, where you have people backing you up.

look all neat and tidy, but you have no idea who you’re dealing with, do you? Do you see the signs around here?
“Oh, wait. Maybe you can’t read.
“This is the international military skills competition hosted by the Thalrex Order right here on Qacalisle Island in Duskhaven. The most elite soldiers from all over the world are staying here.
“Do you even know who I am? My father is one of the most powerful people in the Dragon Soul Special Forces.
“If you don’t apologize for the way you acted at the Island Restaurant, just a word from me, and my father will have the Dragon Soul Special Forces wipe you out right here!”
Robin’s face turned icy. “Did that old fool Kennard put you up to this?”
Simone scoffed. “They say ignorance is bliss. Today, I get to see the kind of trash who has no idea how the world works, acting like this toward my father. Do you have any clue about my father’s level, not just in Draconia, but globally?
“Let me tell you, you wouldn’t even begin to understand. Enough talking. Apologize now!”
Robin’s voice grew even colder. “Fine, let your father come and talk to me.”
The scene between Robin and Simone caught the attention of several military representatives staying at the Duskhaven Hotel.
Reynold from the Centraline Special Forces and Ced from the King Hawk Special Forces had just entered the hotel and were surprised to witness this confrontation.
They stopped in their tracks, shocked by the sight.
They hadn’t expected someone like Robin to be confronted so aggressively by a woman.
Moments later, Mona from Scentialand, Alexander from the Tanqueria Special Forces, Nester from the Vailian Special Forces, and others entered the lobby.
Mona took one look at Simone blocking Robin’s way, listened for a while, and then understood what was going on.
She strutted over toward Simone, her hips swaying with confidence, and stopped in front of her. “Haha, so you’re Mr. Morales‘ daughter? What’s going on here?”
Simone didn’t recognize Mona, but seeing her expensive attire, she figured the woman must be someone important among the guests.
She smiled and said, “This kid followed me outside! What do you all think? Should we teach him a lesson?”
Reynold from Centraline Special Forces shot Simone a disdainful look and whispered to Ced, “Who is this foolish woman claiming the Dragon Soul Special Forces are harrassing her?”
“Haha.” Mona couldn’t help but laugh aloud at the ridiculousness of it all.

Mona, from the Poison Poppy Special Forces, watched Simone storm away with a mix of disbelief and curiosity. “So, this is what the children of high–ranking officials are like?” she muttered, her brow furrowed.
“Where we come from, Commander–in–chief Ramsey commands such respect that even the King bows to him. All high–ranking officials treat him as royalty.”
“The likes of Commander–in–chief Ramsey, who dedicate themselves to the well–being of the people, deserve nothing less than the utmost respect, even from the King.
Briar, the commander of the Camel Squad, shrugged casually. “That’s not how things work where I’m from. The officials there all have noble titles. They stand above the common folk.”
Mona sneered at him. “In a civilized society, power comes from the people, and that’s why all officials should serve them and even flatter them. None of their descendants would dare to act so ridiculously in public. If the children of officials behaved like this back where I came from, their parents would face an immediate investigation.”
Simmond, from the King Hawk Special Forces, joined in with a shrug. “That’s exactly how it should be. Public officials are paid with taxpayer money to serve the people, not rule over them.
“They should be accountable to the people who fund them with their taxes. Public servants should care about their image.”
Reynold from Centraline Special Forces chimed in, his hand lightly pressing against his bruised nose. “Very true. This is the essence of civilization.”
“Hahaha!” Mona suddenly burst out laughing. “Reynold with your bruised face, it seems like you think you understand sociology. Do you even know what true civilization is?” she teased.
Reynold smirked. “Of course I do! A Draconian playwright once said, ‘Civilization is when the weak aren’t afraid, the strong aren’t arrogant, power isn’t showy, society is fair, wrongdoers are punished, the good live in peace, and all people respect each other. A society of peace, equality, and harmony!”
Briar’s eyes lit up. “Yes! I’ve never heard civilization described like that before.”
Simmond patted him on the back. “One day, that kind of society will exist. It’s a dream for all of humanity.
“Sadly, that dream is hard to achieve. As long as people with selfish motives and power–hungry mindsets- exist, it will never happen.
“That’s why we need people like us and Commander–in–Chief Ramsey.” Ced, from the Maple Special Forces, grinned, glancing at Simone, who was still furious.
“Not

Pierre laughed. “What are you all talking about? You’re starting to sound like philosophers.
“As for Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, there’s no need to worry.” Pierre said, his voice cam. “I can guarantee you that Simone will end her father’s high–ranking career.
“Everyone knows that in their country, it’s all about serving the people. Any official corruption is punished

Just as she finished speaking, the warm glow of the setting sun in the hotel lobby faded, casting a chilly silence over the room.
“Someone should turn on the lights,” Simmond said, breaking the silence. He waved to the receptionist before turning back to the group. “Alright, everyone, let’s head back and get some rest. We’ve got the LI Mystic Realm Semifinals tomorrow.”
On the ninth floor of the Duskhaven Grand Hotel, the Dragon Soul Special Forces were staying.
Robin’s suite, located at the farthest end of the hall, was at the highest level of security.
As soon as Robin stepped out of the elevator, Simone followed closely behind.
“Stop right there!” Simone shouted. “You can’t just walk in here!”
Robin ignored her and continued toward his room.
“Why aren’t you stopping him?” Simone snapped at the two guards standing nearby.
Before the guards could answer, Simone barged in after him.
When she saw Robin enter the Dragon Soul commander–in–chief’s suite, she screamed, pounding on the door. “Get out here! Do you know who’s staying in here?”
The guards quickly stepped forward to stop her. “Ms. Morales, this is the room for General Ramsey, Commander–in–Chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces. Please lower your voice. If you disturb the commander’s rest, there will be consequences.”
“But someone just went in!” Simone shouted, pointing angrily at the door. “You saw it and did nothing! Do you want me to report you to a military court?
“Open the door and arrest whoever entered!” she demanded.
The guards remained firm. “That’s not possible. The Dragon Soul commander–in–chief’s suite has extra- security, and no one can enter or leave without authorization.
“Ms. Morales, please don’t make things difficult for us. If you do, it will affect both you and your father.”
Simone pushed past the guards. “Ha! What do I care? My father is the highest–ranking official here! Who should I be afraid of? If you refuse to do your jobs, I’ll have my father take care of you!”
Simone kicked the door, shouting, “You b*stard! Get out here!”
The door swung open, and Robin stepped out, looking at Simone with cold indifference. “What do you want?”
Simone pointed at the guards. “You go get him! This man harassed me outside earlier at the Island Restaurant, and now he’s followed me here!”
One of the guards immediately spoke up. Ms. Morales please don’t make false accusations. This is General Ramsev. Commander–in–Chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces

“What?” Simone froze in shock, her eyes widening as she stared at the man in front of her, trying to process the situation.
Simone couldn’t believe her eyes. The person standing before me is the commander–in–chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces? How could someone so young hold such a high position?
“Have all senior officers report to my room immediately for a meeting,” Robin commanded.
“Got it, Commander–in–Chief Ramsey,” the two guards responded, swiftly heading off to carry out the orders.
Simone stood frozen, her mind racing. She could barely comprehend what was happening.
“H–how can you be Commander–in–Chief Ramsey?” she stammered, clearly in shock.
Robin simply pointed to the two guards. “Tie her up.”
Simone struggled fiercely. “What right do you have to arrest me?” she shouted, panic rising in her voice. “Dad! Help, they’re bullying me!”
Moments later, Jethro, Anton, Zayden, Trix, and several top members of the Dragon Soul Special Forces rushed to Robin’s door.
Kennard, seeing his daughter restrained on the ground, could only look on, clearly disappointed. “Robin, what is this? Are you seeking revenge?
“My daughter is my personal secretary!” Kennard’s voice grew loud with anger. “How dare you detain her without cause? What are you trying to pull here?”
Robin remained calm. “Everything that has happened today has already been reported to the higher–ups Soon, you’ll receive orders for both dismissal and an investigation.”

Simone observed her father’s arrival, his commanding presence filling the room instantly. The atmosphere shifted, and she straightened, instinctively sensing the change.
Even more crucial, Simone knew that her father had already reported Robin to the higher authorities.
She was well aware of the powerful network her father had, including many close friends and former classmates holding influential positions in government
Robin had wronged her, and Simone was confident her father would use every connection at his disposal to ensure Robin’s complete downfall.
Having grown up by her father’s side, Simone understood the intricacies of that world. A single misstep from someone like Robin could easily destroy their career.
The people who held real power weren’t just influential–they were ruthless. One wrong word could erase a person’s entire future.
So what if he’s the commander–in–chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces? What can his title do for him at such a young age?
At his rank, he has no solid backing. My dad’s circle is always thorough, gathering every detail about their target before making any move.
Since my dad already informed the higher–ups about Robin, his fate is sealed.
No matter what skills or accomplishments Robin has, they won’t matter.
Once my dad decided someone’s finished, that’s it. No amount of talent or capability will change his outcome.
And if the accusation of harassment sticks? Robin won’t stand a chance.
Simone’s mind turned cold with satisfaction.
Robin had offended her, and that was something she could never forgive.
With that thought, she screamed, “Dad, it’s this j*rk who harassed me! I can’t show my face to anyone anymore!”
Jethro, Anton, Jackson, and all the elite members of the Dragon Soul Special Forces froze, taken aback.
A moment of silence passed, followed by a brief exchange of glances that seemed to communicate disbelief.
Catherine barely stifled a laugh.
Her gaze flicked from Simone’s heavily made–up face to Robin, who stood motionless, his expression unreadable,
Who in their right mind would believe such a ridiculous, low level accusation?
Robin was surrounded by stunning women at all times all of them eager to be with him. The idea that he would harass someone like Simone who barely even anked as a third–rate woman was beyond absurd

And the audacity of Simone to think she could insult someone of Robin’s status was almost laughable.
Today’s spectacle is definitely entertaining.
“Let her go!” Kennard barked, his face dark with anger.
The two guards hesitated, glancing between Robin and Jethro, but they didn’t release Simone.
“Let her stand up first, then she can explain herself,” Jethro ordered, his face a mask of indifference.
Simone struggled to her feet, collapsing into her father’s arms and sobbing. “Daddy, I can’t face anyone anymore! Sob…”
Kennard pointed at Robin, his voice icy. “I want an explanation from you!
“You’re the commander–in–chief of Dragon Soul Special Forces, a senior officer in Draconia, and yet you engage in this kind of disgraceful behavior? I’ll report this to the higher–ups!”
Jethro’s voice grew colder still. “Mr. Morales, you can’t make such accusations without evidence. Does your daughter have any proof that Commander–in–chief Ramsey harassed her?
“If these claims are false, it’s slander, and that’s a serious offense!
“Be careful, accusing a senior officer in Draconia–especially one with the rank of commander–in–chief during wartime–could lead to immediate consequences.”
Kennard visibly flinched.
Jethro’s threat wasn’t an empty one.
“Simone, what exactly happened?” Kennard demanded, shaking his daughter. “Tell them!
“In a team as disciplined as ours, we will never allow someone with such poor character and morals to hold a position of power!”
Simone wiped her tears and pointed at Robin. “Dad, you sent me to the Island Restaurant to meet that Hawklorean man for a blind date.
“When we sat down, I asked him to take out a pen and paper to write what I was saying. But instead of helping me, he ignored me and told me to leave!
“Dad, when has any man ever treated me like that? How could he just ignore me like that?
“With our family’s position, our wealth–he should have been respectful! He should’ve agreed to everything I asked!”
Simone’s voice trembled with outrage as she continued. “And then, he had the nerve to shout at me and have security throw me out of the restaurant!
“I even told him I was your daughter, and that our family has 11 overseas bank accounts, but he still ignored me. How could he do that?”
could he d
Kennard’s eyes widened in shock, and he quickly corrected her, “Simone, what are you saying? We don’t have any overseas accounts! The only money we have my salary, and you’ve spent all of its

Simone glared at him, her expression one of frustration. “Dad, why are you lying? We really do have money overseas, so stop pretending we don’t!”
Kennard was caught off guard and paused, unable to provide an answer.
He feared she might reveal all his secrets. What Simone didn’t realize was that her casual remark had nearly given him a heart attack.
Those so–called “overseas accounts” were anything but legitimate. If anyone found out about them, it would be the end of him.
Simone continued, “I even asked him to pick up my shoes and put them back on for me, but he refused. It was so humiliating, especially in a place like that!
“And then, when I returned to Duskhaven Hotel, he followed me there. Isn’t that harassment?”
She began to sob again, “If my friends find out about this, I won’t be able to face them!”
Brendon, who had been silently observing, glanced at Simone’s pale, hollow face before his gaze fell on her oddly proportioned body. Unable to hold back, he burst into laughter.
“Are you out of your mind? Do you really think Commander–in–Chief Ramsey would harass someone like you? Hahaha, that’s a good one!”
Simone’s face turned red with fury, and she pointed at him, shouting, “You j*rk! Who do you think you are?”
Brendon stepped forward, his face hardening. “I’m Brendon, heir to Southville Residence. How dare you insult me!
“Do you really think your little family position gives you the right to act like this?
“Watch your mouth. One more word like that, and I’ll slap you across the face.”
Simone, still seething, knew just how much power the Southville Residence had in Draconia. She dared not push him further.
Kennard stood frozen, shocked by the revelation. He hadn’t expected one of Dragon Soul Special Forces‘ elite members to be connected to the Southville Residence, a powerful lineage far beyond his reach.
Catherine couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “You think someone like you could ever get Commander- in–Chief Ramsey to harass you? If he’s harassing anyone, it’d be Colonel Wright or Talia, not you!”
Wait. What the hell is she talking about?
Robin rolled his eyes at Catherine.
Talia and Freya, however, blushed upon hearing that, wishing they could dig a hole in the ground to hide
- in.
Meanwhile, Simone gritted her teeth, unable to take the humiliation anymore. “Who the hell are you to insult me like that?”
Smack! The sound of Catherine’s slap echoed loudly in the room.

“My grandfather is Lord Westeria, Nigel McKay! Is that status enough for you?” Catherine snapped.
Catherine sneered, her tone dripping with scorn. “You, with your pathetic family background, think you can show off and bully people? Get over yourself! Even if you threw yourself at Commander–in–Chief Ramsey, he wouldn’t even look at you. You’re just making things up!”
