Chapter 1
After getting pregnant, Lawson Strickland became infatuated with a young and delicate secretary.
On New Year’s Eve, Lawson and the secretary wearing a red dress bid farewell to the old and
welcome the new in the private room.
After I accidentally bumped into them, the secretary raised her snow–white neck, which was
adorned with circles of bright red love bites.
“Well, Tiara, don’t misunderstand! The new year is coming, and I am warding off bad luck and
bringing good fortune to Lawson.”
The husband, whose enthusiasm was disturbed, complained.
“You couldn’t satisfy me while you were pregnant, I am a normal man. I had to fulfill my physical needs. Elaina was just kind enough to help.”
I was seven months pregnant when I got so angry that my water broke.
The secretary, however, claimed that I intentionally wet my pants to embarrass my husband.
My husband was ashamed of me and locked me in the bathroom.
After spending three days and nights together with his secretary, he decided to end the punishment.
But later, he went crazy when he saw my shriveled belly.

at home because I was pregnant.
As night approached, I received a message from Lawson with an address attached.
“Honey, I have a surprise for you.”
I hurriedly went to the club to pick him, with my 7–month pregnant belly.
The full excitement was extinguished by a bucket of cold water.
The private room was filled with smoke, creating a hazy atmosphere. It was a scene of indulgence
and extravagance.
Lawson’s secretary, Elaina Gilbert, had misty eyes and her ears were turning red.
She sat on Lawson’s lap, innocent and alluring.

Lawson’s bulging right hand tightly gripped the woman’s waist, while Elaina’s dress had long been hung around her waist, revealing her fragrant shoulders.
The red dress was exclusively customized by Lawson for me when I got married, making it one of a
kind.
But Lawson secretly brought out the demand for stimulation.
The sight of Elaina’s slender white waist pained my eyes.
“Lawson, be gentle with me, please.”
“The deceitful little demon, who used to constantly pester me five times a day, pretending to be
innocent.”
They kissed passionately as if no one else was around, and the people around them didn’t find it
strange.
I think I knew who sent that text message in the end.
Lawson’s friends stood with their arms around girls, watching this scene with amusement.
Brogan Baxter joked.
“Elaina’s new year battle outfit was hot! No wonder Lawson was willing to leave his wife behind and
keep the appointment on New Year’s Eve.”
Lawson tightly wrapped his arms around Elaina’s waist, exhaled a breath, and smirked lightly.
“Marry a virtuous wife, marry someone beautiful. If Tiara Hanson can’t let go of certain poses, then
find someone who can vent it out. I can distinguish between priorities.”
“And after Tiara got pregnant, she became as fat as a pig and looked sloppy all the time. It was
disgusting to see her, unlike Elaina, who was so seductive and charming.‘

“Yes, yes, my good girl, Happy New Year!”
Elaina’s hand tapped on Lawson’s chest, and she pouted discontentedly.
“Lawson was so annoying, what did he take me for? I am a girl from a good family, you

Lawson took out a valuable diamond necklace from his pocket and stuffed it into Elaina’s
disheveled dress.
He made the girl in his arms laugh continuously.

“What’s the point of knowing? Even if she loves me so much, she’s pregnant, where can she go?”
Then came their unbearable flirtatious voices.

I felt my stomach convulsing and waves of nausea as I pushed the door open, my face pale.
My arrival broke the laughter in the room.
Lawson quickly picked up the coat from the sofa and draped it over Elaina.
I felt ironic, clenching my fists in anger.
“What, she dares to ride on you in public and still afraid to show a shoulder?”
“Don’t talk nonsense, the girl is thin–skinned.”
Elaina, who was being protected by him, provocatively looked at me.
“Tiara, we are celebrating New Year’s Eve! Bidding farewell to the old year and welcoming the new, replacing the old person with the new, you should understand.”
Everyone tried to make eye contact with me to signal that I should give Lawson a way out.
“Tiara, we are playing Truth or Dare and got a bit carried away while drinking. As a punishment, we
have to drink three cups and apologize to you. Please forgive Lawson!”
