Chapter 4
Olivia’s child was born, but much earlier than the expected due date.
Liam rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night.
Before leaving, he said to me, “Don’t think too much. We’ll talk about everything when I come
back.”
I watched his departing figure and silently opened the address book to find the doctor I had previously contacted.
I received a reply from their hospital in the morning.
“Everything is ready. The surgery can be performed today.”
When he had not returned yet, I took some essentials and went to the hospital.
As time passed by, minute by minute, I lay on the operating table, constantly recalling the past in my mind.
He said that children would only be the product of love. Without love, it would be an original sin.
But in the end, he still let someone else give birth to a child. From the moment he made that
decision, it was destined that I was no longer the person he loved the most.
Thinking of this, I fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up again, I only felt uncomfortable all over my
body.
At this moment, a call from Liam came in. There was clearly some worry in his tone.
“Where did you go? I looked for you all day.”
Upon hearing his question, I remained silent with a hoarse throat.
Liam’s voice became more tense, and he asked anxiously, “Don’t scare me. I won’t go anywhere, and I’ll just stay with you.
“As long as you don’t leave me.”
In the end, his voice trembled.
I could only speak with a hoarse voice and calmly told him, “I’m in the hospital.”
He heard my voice, and his breathing clearly calmed down, but the next second he became anxious again.
“Where are you? I’m coming right away.”

“No need, just a minor issue. I’ll be back soon.”
After Liam heard me say that I was going home, he visibly relaxed and his tone became noticeably
lighter.
“Okay, I wait for you at home.”
I remained silent and hung up the phone the next second.
I handed over the doctor’s diagnosis, ultrasound images, and surgical records to the designated
person.
“After I die, all these things will be handed over to my husband.“‘
Then I drove alone and arrived at the end of the world in the book.
I looked at the surging sea water under the bridge, but there was not a trace of fear in my heart.
In ten minutes, the agreement I had made with the system will be fulfilled.
I finally came to terms with Liam’s betrayal because I answered back to his deception.
What he waited for was only a corpse.
I did have to go home, but that world didn’t have him.
With this in mind, I accurately timed myself and leaped off the bridge.

Liam, who was preparing a candlelight dinner at home, suddenly felt a panic in his heart as if something very important had disappeared from within him.
His hand was cut open with a long gash, but he didn’t have time to deal with it. He rushed over and picked up his phone, continuously calling Evelyn.
But no matter how many times he called, no one answered his phone.
He went crazy and made everyone stop what they were doing, even if it meant searching the whole
world to find his wife.
Meanwhile, he received a package.
As soon as he opened it and saw what was inside, his eyes instantly turned red.
The next second, when he was about to personally go and find Evelyn, the police informed him.
“Mrs. Carter has been found. Please come to the police station to take her home.“
