But no matter what he did, Evelyn would never come back again.
He sat defeated on the ground and had someone take Olivia away.
He didn’t come to his senses until the baby, who had been crying hoarsely on the bed, had his face
turned purple.
Out of paternal instinct, he rang the emergency bell.
Soon, doctors and nurses came in one after another, and he suddenly remembered the child that Evelyn had aborted.
If it weren’t for Olivia and her child, he would have had a warm family, a wife who loved him deeply,
and a lovely child.
But all of this was ruined by Olivia and her son.
So Liam had a plan of revenge in mind.
He asked someone to cure Olivia. He then agreed to the family’s request that Olivia and her son
come home with legal identities.
To the astonishment of all, he placed a picture of Evelyn in the house and required that Olivia should confess before her every day.
“It’s all your fault. I married you just to make you repent in front of her.”
After being hurt by him in the hospital, Olivia was scared out of her wits. Liam was even more mad than she had thought. Although she was reluctant, she had no way but to do as Liam ordered.
For the first few days, she was a bit awed, but gradually she started to only pretend to be so in front
of Liam.
Even on her knees in confession, she would point at the picture of Olivia and say, “You were smart enough to commit suicide, but why didn’t you do so without letting Liam know for a lifetime? Why did you not keep it a secret from him? You make me and my child suffer so much.”
“You harmed me when you were alive. Even after death, you don’t let me off.”
After finishing speaking, she spat at the photo. All of this was secretly recorded by Liam.
After returning home, he treated Olivia much better than usual and even waived her punishment.
He bought a lot of famous brand jewelry and accessories for Olivia.
Olivia began to believe that she had truly become the mistress of the Carter family. Her true nature

On one occasion, she even pushed a servant into the shards of glass, which was the most outrageous of all. However, Liam helped her keep it a secret.
He indulged her until another company team–building event.
Liam got drunk and was helped into a hotel room by a young and beautiful woman.
Olivia, who had been stalking Liam a short distance away, saw the scene and rushed over in anger. She knocked at the door and slapped the woman in the room without a word. Then, she scolded, “You dare to use these tricks in front of me. Who do you think you are?”
Just as she finished saying this, the man lying on the bed suddenly opened his eyes and stared at her fiercely, saying, “What did you do back then?”
Being glared at by Liam, Olivia was scared. Her legs went weak, and she knelt on the ground begging for mercy.
“Liam, let me explain. It was not what you thought.”
Liam grabbed her arm and looked down at her, saying, “What do you think I refer to? No wonder I felt something was wrong. I had a strange feeling that day. Now I think you tampered with the drink.”
Olivia’s tears fell down her face, as she hurriedly explained.
“No, I just like you. I wanted to have a husband as good as you.”
After that, she approached Liam and tried to hug him. Little did she know Liam’s personality was
like that.
He could not tolerate anyone’s calculations. That was why he loved Evelyn so much. She was the first girl who had ever really cared for him.
However, the girl he loved was ruined by Olivia. Thinking of this, Liam grabbed Olivia’s neck.
When she was about to be strangled, Liam’s assistant stopped him.
