Chapter 122
The keychain was a small pink cat bag with a white kitten inside, very unique. It resembled the one Isabella had attached to her backpack zipper a while ago, but in a different color.
Harry often took Daisy and Franklin out, so it wasn’t surprising that they both had the same
keychain.
Maggie paused for a moment, but didn’t ask more questions. She smiled and said, “It’s very beautiful. I really like it. Thank you, Daisy.”
Daisy, even happier, tugged Maggie along toward the ski area. “Auntie, let’s go skiing!”
“Okay.”
Seeing them walk ahead, Harry asked, “Have you had breakfast? We brought some for you.
If you haven’t eaten, we can have it now.”
Maggie replied, “I’ve already eaten.”
“Good.”
After getting dressed and putting on goggles, they started skiing.
Shandan wasn’t very skilled yet, but Maggie had been skiing for many years and slowly helped her.
On weekends, the ski resort was quite crowded, and Harry stayed close by to protect them in case someone accidentally bumped into them.
Unfortunately, the crowd was too dense. After skiing for just over an hour, two girls collided
with them.
Shandan was fine, but Maggie was thrown into Harry’s arms. He reflexively wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her securely into his embrace.
Chapter 122
Suddenly being pressed up against his broad chest, Maggie froze for a moment, feeling a little uncomfortable. She tried to pull away, but her foot hurt.
Harry didn’t let go of her. “Did you sprain your ankle?”
“I think… yes.”
Harry called a staff member over and had them look after Daisy while he bent down and
picked up Maggie.
She thought he would let the staff help, but when he suddenly lifted her, she was caught off guard and instinctively resisted. “Put me down, I-”
Harry said,
The doctor is already waiting. Let’s get your ankle checked first.”
Maggie paused and stopped struggling.
Once inside, Harry gently set her down. The waiting doctor checked her foot and found only
a mild dislocation. After a quick adjustment, she was fine.
Harry asked, “Want to keep skiing?”
“I’m fine. We can continue,” Maggie replied.
Since she came, she didn’t want to dampen the mood.
The doctor said her leg wasn’t actually injured, so he didn’t refuse her.
“Sophia? What are you looking at?”
Sophia: “I think I saw someone I know.”
The side profile of the person ahead really looked like Harry.
But he was with a child and a woman, so… it probably wasn’t Harry.
When she tried to take a couple of steps forward to get a better look, the person had already put on a hat and sunglasses and left.
Chapter 122
For the next hour or so, Maggie and Daisy bumped into people twice more, but fortunately, they weren’t hurt.
When Harry held her hand to support her, Maggie gently tried to pull away, saying, “I’m fine, thank you.”
Harry finally let go of her wrist.
At noon, they left the ski resort and went to a nearby restaurant for lunch.
Harry handed her the menu and let her order.
At that moment, Daisy suddenly remembered something and asked Maggie, “Auntie, what’s
your name?”
“Maggie, Auntie’s name is Maggie Miller.”
Daisy nodded: “Aunt Maggie.”
Maggie smiled and gently patted her little face.
Probably because skiing was exhausting, Daisy fell asleep even before finishing her meal.
Harry picked her up, wiped the oil stains off her mouth.
Maggie had also nearly finished eating, put down her chopsticks, and said, “Should we wrap
up for today?”

“Sure.” However, Harry didn’t stand up immediately but looked at her and said, “Can I invite
you next time?”
Maggie replied, “Sure.”
He had helped her, so since Daisy needed her, it was only natural for her to help him a few
times in return.
“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”
Since Daisy was asleep, Maggie still thought there wasn’t much to say, so she didn’t say
much and turned to leave.
Watching her drive away, Harry stood there for a moment before getting into his car.
When they arrived home, Daisy had woken up.
“Aunt Maggie left already?”
“Mm.” Harry held her and suddenly said, “By the way, Daisy, from now on just call her Aunt, don’t call her Aunt Maggie, alright? And, keep Aunt’s name a secret, don’t tell anyone for now, okay?”
Daisy obediently nodded: “Okay.”
After lunch with Harry, Maggie drove off and soon received a call from Jessica.
“Mag, where are you? I’m exhausted, come pick me up for dinner.”
Maggie didn’t mention that she had already eaten: “Where are you?”
“Floral Garden,” Jessica replied, “It’s that ancient–style housing development from a few
years ago. I came here with my aunt to look at houses this morning, and I’m wiped out.”
“Alright.”
After hanging up, Maggie adjusted her GPS and headed towards Floral Garden.
About ten minutes later, Jessica called again.
“You won’t believe who I ran into here!”
Maggie paused.
The only person recently who could make Jessica curse was probably-

“Franklin and Julia’s family! He brought the Brown family here to look at houses!”
Maggie stared ahead, her face expressionless, and murmured, “Mmn.”
Normally, when Franklin and Julia went out, they usually brought Isabella along.
Today, Franklin must have left Isabella at home because he was taking the Brown family to
look at houses.
Of course, since the Green family had already moved in, and the Brown family was planning to settle in the capital, it was time to buy a property.
