Isabella moved aside.
The butler looked puzzled, “It’s so late, are you leaving, Madam?”

She heard that he hadn’t gone on a business trip but had some personal matters and

At dinner, she asked Isabella where she wanted to go on the weekend.
Isabella thought for a moment, then shook her head, “I don’t have any special place I want
to go.”
Maggie could tell by her expression that it wasn’t that she had no places in mind, but rather
that she wanted to be with Franklin and Julia over the weekend.
Now that they weren’t around, nothing seemed interesting to her.
Maggie didn’t point it out. Instead, she asked, “Do you want to go horseback riding?”
Isabella hadn’t ridden in a while, and upon hearing this, she became interested, nodding eagerly, “Yes!”
The next day, Maggie took Isabella to the equestrian club.
When they arrived and Maggie changed into her riding clothes, she overheard Isabella,
with her back to Maggie, talking to the instructor,
“My dad and one of my aunts are amazing at horseback riding, they’re so cool! Too bad they couldn’t come with me today…”
Maggie stayed at the door, not interrupting their conversation.
It was the instructor who noticed her and stood up, greeting her, “Miss Miller.”
Maggie nodded and the instructor asked, “Should I call someone else to assist you?”
Maggie nodded, “Yes, please.”
Maggie actually knew how to ride horses, but when Isabella was younger, when she took
her to the equestrian club, she focused all her attention on Isabella and didn’t ride much
herself.
She hadn’t ridden seriously for about three or four years.
Her riding skills were still good, but just to be safe, she decided to let someone accompany
