He said, “I won’t give up all you say yee. And that ring will be our engagement ring”
After five years, only agreed to marry him when he gave me the nmery–ninth ring.
I thought reg loved me, but had the truth behind hos propisal
Greg sighed and sand. “Ayleen doesn’t like me But if I marry Everly, I can drill be close to her just in a different way. Everly’s pretty strong–willed, and if I’m with her, maytur Ayleen won’t have to deal with as much pressure from Everly.”
Greg’s friend let out a deep sigh and said, “Marriage isn’t a game. This could cost you your whole life. Seriously, is it really worth it?”
Greg looked serious and said, “I’d do anything for Ayleen”
It turned out everything Greg did was for my sister, Ayleen Olson.
I messaged my friend abroad to find me a place to live.
The rent paperwork would be completed in ten days. Then, I’d end the engagement and leave Greg.
After that, I would cut him out of my life.
Greg and I were supposed to choose the wedding dress today, but he was two hours late.
Greg gave me an apologetic smile and said, “Sorry, Everly, something came up at work, and I
couldn’t leave.”
He showed me his phone. “Look, my team is still messaging me.”
I didn’t check the messages, but I saw they were from his subordinate.
My eyes were on Greg’s phone wallpaper.
It was a photo of Ayleen and me.
I had asked Greg why he chose that photo.
Greg smiled and commented that my smile looked very beautiful in it.
Back then, I felt his words were sweet.
Now it seemed like Greg just wanted to see Ayleen’s face every time he used his phone.
I controlled my emotions and said calmly to Greg, “Let’s go choose the wedding dress first.”
Picking a wedding dress with my fiancé was something I always wanted.

Even though the wedding wouldn’t happen, I still got caught up in it.
“Greg, how about this one?”
Greg’s eyes were on his phone, and he gave a quick smile. “Everly, you look good in anything Should we hurry?”
Suddenly, Greg’s phone rang, and he answered it right away.
Briefly, I saw the contact on the screen.
Ayla.
I had asked why Ayleen’s contact was “Ayla” and mine was “Everly Olson.”
Greg told me using my full name could show his affection for me.
However, he had changed the note from “Ayla” to “Ayleen” since then.
It just showed his feelings for Ayleen.
I tried on many wedding dresses, while Greg was still outside on the phone.
Shortly after, he sent me a message, “Everly, I’m really busy at work, so I’ll go back first. Just pick
the dress you like. I believe your choice is always right.”
He didn’t have time to talk to me because he was rushing to see Ayleen.
I knew it would happen, but my eyes still welled up with tears.
I put all the wedding dresses back.
The salesperson asked, “Ms. Olson, have you made your choice yet?”
I shook my head with a bitter smile.
Why waste time on a wedding dress if there wouldn’t be a wedding?
