Chapter 6
The plane landed, and Michael personally came to pick me up.
“Stella, it’s great that you can come. Due to the unique nature of this project, we need to keep it confidential. Here is a work phone that can only connect to the internal network.”
I looked at my phone. Zachary sent countless messages and made countless calls.
Just as I was about to shut down, his call came in again.
Michael saw me staring at my phone in a daze and said, “Stella, there is still time. If you have something urgent, you can handle it first.”
I turned off my phone and handed it to the staff, saying, “Mr. Looper, it’s okay.”
Soon, a car arrived and took us into a primitive forest.
Meanwhile, Zachary had turned the city upside down to look for me.
He searched all the places I could be.
He asked all my friends, but no one knew where I was.
“Zachary, actually I regret it now. Back then, I agreed to help you conceal the fact of giving birth to a
child.
“Stella left this time without saying anything to anyone. I’m afraid she won’t consider us as friends
anymore.”
After hearing it, Zachary drank a full glass of strong liquor and choked out tears.
He even called my best friend who was abroad.
“Zachary, considering what you did, I think Stella is merciful to you. If it were me, I would have torn you apart and fed you to the dogs. How dare you come to me?”
The phone was hung up. Zachary muttered to himself, “No, it’s not possible. We love each other so much. I can’t live without Stella. I will definitely find her.”
After knowing that I went to Kingsborg, he turned down the cooperation worth over ten million dollars and immediately flew to Kingsborg.
He stayed in Kingsborg for half a month but still got nothing.
He returned to his office and found his desk piled with files waiting for him to handle.
A document bag was conspicuous.

He opened it, and his expression froze in shock.
Inside was a divorce agreement that I had signed, as well as all the chat records that Charlotte sent
to me.
He flipped through the pages of chat records with his trembling hands.
When he saw the screenshot of him and Charlotte getting married, he roared angrily and swept everything on his desk to the ground.
The floor was covered with scattered paper and glass.
He could never find Stella again. This thought kept hitting him, making him tremble with fear all
over his body.
At this moment, the office door was pushed open, and Charlotte walked in carrying a bowl of
chicken soup.
Zachary’s crimson eyes stared at her, sending shivers down her spine. She couldn’t help but shrink
her neck.
After Charlotte recovered from the shock, she walked over.
She poured out the chicken soup and handed it to Zachary, comforting him softly.
“Zachary, don’t be pessimistic. Maybe Stella is just in a bad mood. She went out to relax.
“Don’t forget you have a child. I will always be there for you.
“Have some chicken soup first. It took me several hours.”
Zachary did not take the chicken soup from her hands. Instead, he stared at her fixedly.
