Chapter 11
Zachary’s face flushed abnormally, indicating that he was still running a fever.
I was about to pretend not to know him and walk away, but he asked, “Who is that man? What is your relationship with him?”
Before I could say anything, Jacob stepped forward and stood in front of me, saying, “I am her boyfriend. Please do not harass Stella again.”
There were many people at the hotel entrance. Even though it was close to midnight. There were still many reporters and paparazzi.
The commotion caught the attention of many people.
As Zachary was about to rush forward, I pulled Jacob back a little.
“Let’s talk.”
So, the three of us arrived at the hotel room together.
I asked Jacob to leave first, but he didn’t listen and continued playing with his phone at the side.
I gave Zachary a glass of warm water.
He stared at the glass of water without speaking, so I spoke up.
“Why do
you have to act like this? You know very well in your heart that we can’t be together
anymore.”
Zachary’s tears fell, and he wanted to explain.
I didn’t give him the chance. “You know me well. There is no room for betrayal in love. You can say you don’t love me, and I’ll walk away immediately, but I can’t tolerate deception.
“I have read your messages.”
Zachary looked up at me, his eyes filled with hope.
I coldly looked at him and continued, “But Zachary, back then, did you really have no other choice?”
I watched as the light in Zachary’s eyes dimmed little by little until it went out completely.
He knew very well in his heart that he had too many choices, but he chose to take risks and hurt me
the most.
He wished no one would find out. In that way, he could love me while having another family.

He wished Charlotte purely wanted a child as she had said before.
Zachary, who was experienced and had seen all kinds of people, could easily see through a woman’s
heart.
He was just pretending not to know.
Zachary kept his head down and constantly pulled at his hair without speaking.
At this moment, his assistant rushed in hurriedly. It seemed to be something urgent.
