I almost got caught, I’ll have to be more careful next time. I quickly got out from the lady and her maid. That maid beside surely asked a lot of questions, as if she was in charge. Why wou a low–life maid be beside the lady who claims to be the Luna and this pack. She was being too free with the lady. Although I never once believed that she was the Luna, Since I’m the Alpha the only person worthy enough to be my Luna is none other than Miraelle. And once I get her out of here, I’ll make sure that lady who claims to be the Luna suffers dearly. Si dared to lie to everyone that she was the Luna of this pack. What exactly was she after? The fame and power? She won’t get away with what she has done, I promised.
Just then, I reached the front gate, the next place I was being posed to guard. But then I hesitated for a second, What was I doing here? My entire plan just failed and here I am trying to work as a guard. Since my plans to guard the dungeon, I decided to let go of my disguise.
As I turned to leave, Two guards approached me and said.
“You’ve been summoned,” The guard said
But I got confused.
Who would think of summoning me when no one here knows who I am, Or else they found out my disguise? My heart pounded so fast.
I wanted to utter a word when the two guards came to me and held my two arms.
“There’s no time for this, Let’s take him there,” one of them said as they carried me away.
I struggled so hard to let go but they tightened their grip trying to withhold me.
I was curious as to who would be summoning me out of the blue. I had no one in mind, it then seemed like I did something terribly wrong.
They carried me upstairs to a room, it looked familiar but I couldn’t recall. Just then we reached the door entrance and the door slid open. To my surprise, I saw that lady, The Luna, standing sterling towards us. So this was all a trap to get me here, I knew she was up to something the last time we saw each other. I just hoped she hadn’t found out about my true identity.
The guards behind me took me in, And the lady gave them a sign to leave as they bowed and quickly left the room, leaving just me and her only in the room which felt weird.
As the door closed, she slowly came towards me but I kept adjusting backward to avoid her gaze, Suddenly she said.
“Hey soldier,” she said but I got confused. She used informal speech As if we had known each other for a long time. It didn’t really bother me because I knew she was only playing games with me.
“What do you want from me?” I said nervously.
She gasped surprisingly, though it looked like she was pretending.
“I don’t get it, You are a guard and yet you talk as if you’ve known me. You didn’t even show your respects,” she said and smirked.
It annoyed me to look her in the eyes but I had no other choice. I slowly took a bow and apologized while doing so. I didn’t want to look suspicious at all that was why I did it, But then she said.
“I’ve never seen you around here before, What’s your name?” She said with a smile.
I knew it! She’s playing with me, if not why would she be asking for my name, what good would my name for if I tell her,

Chapter 31
After all as it seems note I’m just a mere guard. But then it ocened to me, I went in disguise but I couldn’t come up with a name for myself. I thought for a while about what I would name myself in the meantime.
“I’m waiting.” she said.
Why was it so hard to come up with a name, what if she found ajit?
“Kelvin,” I finally said ” My name is Kelvin, I’m sorry I hesitated for a while Lady,”
Just then, she laughed silently, Did my name sound funny?
“That’s….a nice name but my name is not lady, I’m Rose, Luna Rose,” she introduced.
Just immediately after she introduced herself, my heart began to beat so fast, I don’t know why but it felt like I’d heard that name somewhere similar before. My head began to hurt so bad, that I groaned in pain.
“Are you okay,” She said as she touched my chest and then touched my forehead to check if I was okay.
I looked into her eyes, They were full of concern for me, why was she concerned about–someone like me, though I’m just a guard now, But the way she acted it feel as if I was someone special to her.
For some reason, Her gentle touch made the pain subside. I don’t know why I feel this way, but this feels familiar for some reason but I can’t tell how.
I stood back up to assure her that I was–fine, But that wasn’t enough to convince her, She took me straight to the bed and told me to relax my head for a little while.
But I still had my mask on, What if she told me to take off the mask so I could relax well and comfortably? But I couldn’t just reveal myself to her like that, I wasn’t ready for anything to happen right now. I apologized and declined her offer, I stood up to leave the room but she still called me back.
“I want to ask you something if you don’t mind, That was the main reason why I called you in here,” she said.
I felt like she still wanted to play games with me, I had second thoughts about staying or going. I had to maintain myself, I drew backward and walked towards her so I could hear what she had to say.
“Yes Luna,” I replied.
“From now on I want you to be my personal bodyguard, if that is okay by you…..Actually no, This isn’t a request, I’m ordering you to be my personal bodyguard,” She said.
I was shocked, My heart pounded so fast. Personal bodyguard? So what would happen to my disguise? Do I plan on staying like this forever? All these thoughts kept flowing in my mind, which made me hesitate to answer her question.
“Is something wrong? Don’t you want the job?” She said curious.
The problem wasn’t about the job, the problem was I was in disguise and the person she was looking for was actually me. How am I able to handle being in disguise and being her personal bodyguard at the same time? Should I just tell her that I’m not a bodyguard? If she finds out that it was me all along who knows what might happen to me next, I don’t plan on staying locked up again and keep doing both about Miraelle. I had to find a way to get her out of there as fast as possible.
But the thing is, I still needed this disguise to accomplish my plan. So does being in disguise and also her personal bodyguard make things more easier for me?
Any bodyguard in my position would jump up with joy after that he’ll be appointed as her personal bodyguard. For them, it’s like a great honor to personally protect and guide the luna and Alpha of this pack. So right now I’m not an exception, Ever since I decided to play the ordinary bodyguard whose only aim is to rescue Miraelle from prison, I knew there would be consequences, so I had no other choice but to keep going with the flow without looking back.

“I accept,” I finally said. “I accept to be your bodyguard to serve and protect only you. I promise you,” I said as I bowed to me. Her reaction was kind of unexpected because she seemed her, displeased. She was the one who brought up the fact about being her personal bodyguard, So why does she feel regrets, I could tell from her eyes.
Suddenly, Her facial expression changed, and she began to sinile.
“I’m glad,” she said
“But I have some conditions if you don’t mind,” I asked.
“Emm….sure, Go on” She requested
This is it! I can finally say it.
“I request that while I’m your personal bodyguard I’m allowed to do what I please and I’m also allowed to go where I please to. Being your bodyguard is also a big deal for someone like me. So I request that other guards let me do what I want and also treat me with respect,” I said as she chuckled.
“That is one weird request but okay then, I accept,” she said.
