The Elfina’s pack? I’ve heard that word somewhere before. And then it hit me, it turned out that the pack the guard was referring to was actually the pack Rose and I encountered way back When Rose was seriously injured and I had to rush her to the hospital but luckily we bumped into them and they welcomed us with open arms. The young doctor, Doctor Elise who was super skilled and treated Rose’s injuries even though it felt impossible to cure. She actually saved Rose’s life back then and I was thankful for that. The old man who only cared about the safety of the pack and the prevents he taught me and he told me the things he has tried to avoid in this pack. The old man, who treated and called me his own son which actually melted my heart away. The Elfina’s pack as a whole, Doesn’t and will always prevent anything that brings war or corruption to their pack. They had a very peaceful hideout, And the people around there were so kind–hearted and treated us so nicely.
Now all of a sudden they’re declaring war on us? I refused to believe that there was actually a war going to happen. The Elfiba’s pack were very peaceful people and there was no way they had to declare war when they tried avoiding war many times.
“The Elfiba’s pack? Who are they? I’ve never heard of such a pack before,” Allison asked looking so confused.
I was as confused as Allison was the first time I heard about ‘The Elfina’s pack‘ from them.
That was because they were supposed to be known by anyone. Even their hideout only was hidden. It’ll take me hours for me to find out where their hideout was again.
Allison turned to me and noticed the way I reacted so calmly about all of this. She got confused and asked.
“Alpha kanen, it’s weird for me to ask but why do you look so calm with how things are turning out? They just declared war on us and you seemed rather less concerned about it,” She asked.
“I do right? I feel that way because I don’t believe a word I just heard. There is no way the Elfinacs pack would declare war on us, Let’s say it’s not even possible,” I said as Allison got shocked.
“Why would you say that Alpha, This isn’t a joke to either of us. The whole pack is in danger, Why do you sound as if you’ve known them from somewhere,” She asked as I smirked.
“Indeed I have, You’ll be surprised to know that they were actually the ones who treated Rose the last time she got kidnapped. Rose almost lost her life but their talented Doctor was skilled enough to save her life. So I’m really grateful to them,” I said.
“That’s really unexpected. I heard from Luna Rose that she was treated that day but I had no idea it was the Elfina’s pack.” She said as I nodded
“Exactly… That’s why I don’t believe it,” I said as I turned to the guard who was standing before me, Looking terrified already.
“All the generals and higher ups are already gathered in the hall waiting patiently for your arrival to discuss the matter,” The guard said as he bowed.
Now it was where things got a little too serious. I still didn’t believe what the guard said so I had to go to the meeting for more confirmation. I left there with the guard leaving Allison behind, Though she must’ve gone her separate way but it wasn’t appropriate for her to join us in the meeting.
I went towards the guest room and pushed the door open, There I saw all the generals and higher–ups sitting, Waiting patiently for me. Immediately I arrived they are stood up and gave a bow, I gently walked through them and went straight to the top where my throne was placed. I sat down on the throne and they all reciprocated. No one said a word until I spoke up.
“What’s the latest update,” I said.
To be honest I’ve been putting on an act all these while because deep inside, My heart was pounding so fast, I was scared. I didn’t want what I heard from the guard to be true. Going on an all–out war with the Elfina’s pack? That’s still impossible to believe
One of the generals stood up and spoke.
“It turns out there’s a crisis that will occur in the next few hours. A pack known as “The Elfina’s pack‘ had just declared war on us,” He said.
My heart melted.
“I don’t believe such rumors,” I suddenly said.
But everyone got confused.
“Err… No Alpha King, It’s not a rumor. The fact is that they even sent a messenger to us and he came to deliver the message. He informed us that they’ve declared war on us within 5 hours and they will invade in our home,” He said.
I quickly stood up in shock. My eyes were wide open and my heart was beating so fast. I can’t believe it was actually true, The Elfina’s pack? But why? My heart started beating so fast. I kept recalling all those memories I had with the old man and the young doctor Elise. Was everything just a trap?

“What are your orders Alpha king? At this rate, we either have to evacuate everyone in this place. I’ve already sent guards to announce to everyone that there will be a war taking place. Everyone might be in a haste trying to run for their lives by now,” One of the generals said.
“You seem rather more troubled than us Alpha Kanen. Have you known the Elfina’s pack from anywhere?” one of the higher–ups said.
I hesitated for a while but before I could speak, A familiar voice spoke out.
“Yes, we have!!”
The door slammed open and everyone’s attention wa
s drawn to it.
Surprisingly, Rose stepped in.
