Chapter 44
Alpha kanen
It turned out that General Ham was a big scandal after all. After Ray and I heard that loud bang coming from his chambers, We both rushed there but I ended up telling Ray to stay behind. I didn’t want her to experience anything there. I peeped through the door of his chambers and saw him yelling at himself for no just cause. Well, This is proof that he was among the causes of this war and I’m glad my suspect was right after all.
He was so pissed that he broke every vase in his room because of anger, Yelling at himself that was why the Elfuna’s pack hasn’t attacked yet. That means he had already planned everything with Elfina’s pack to attack at the appropriate time he told them to.
I was so hurt that one of my trusted allies would have to betray me like this one day and I wasn’t expecting it to be this day. Though I expected something like this to occur anytime soon.
“Those bastards, How could they ruin our plan just like that? And what’s taking them so long, Why haven’t they attacked yet? I put in all my efforts to make this plan work so they shouldn’t fail me now. What if the Alpha finds out that I was part of this, I’ll be doomed if that were to happen,” He said while yelling as he took another vase and threw it on the floor with anger.
Well, He was wrong about one thing. The Alpha has already found out about his plan, in fact, he’s right here staring at me.
Suddenly, I felt a gentle touch on my back. It was Ray who tried to get my attention.
“What’s going on Alpha?” She whispered in a low voice.
“It seems we caught a rat In a trap,” I responded with a smile but she got all confused.
“What do you mean by that? Does it mean that General Ham has something to do with the upcoming war,” She whispered.
“Yeah, Judging from how things look, It seems that he was the mastermind in all this,” I replied as she covered her mouth in shock.
But unfortunately for her, The food tray she held in her hand fell on the floor which created a loud noise that attracted everyone’s attention.
All the generals who were in their chambers quickly came out in response to the noise they heard.
“What’s going on? What was that noise?” One of the generals who came out said.
“Was that the Elfina’s trying to attack us again?” One of them said,
There were about 5 of them who rushed out to see what was going on. Everything fell apart, Our secret plan has been exposed!
I looked at Ray and then she looked at me with a sad expression on her face..
“I’m so sorry Alpha Kanen, it was a mistake. I didn’t know how it all happened all of a sudden. Please forgive me,” She apologized.
“No, it’s okay Ray. I understand where you are coming from, Right now we just need to figure it out.” I assured her as she nodded in relief.
One of the generals came and approached me with a confused look on his face.
“Alpha?” He called out. He was surprised to see I was here with them, though I won’t blame him.
When he called out my name that was when he brought attention to everyone and they all gathered around me.
“It’s so shocking to see you here Alpha Kanen. What do we owe those pleasant visits of yours,” One of them asked.
COME
They thought I came for a visit? Was there any other way to tell them that I only came here to spy on General Ham who they thought was their ally? Turns out to be their betrayal. Was it okay to tell them in situations like this? At this point, there was no other option to have than to tell them the truth.
“I’m sorry to intrude but there has been a scandal roaming around this place,” I said but they all looked confused.
“What do you mean Alpha? What kind of scandal are you talking about?” One of them asked.
I took a deep breath and exhaled, Still contemplating if I should expose the secret to them or not.
While Joe and Raph were out there searching for the culprit, I was in here trying to expose the secret we were meant to keep from each other. I wondered what Joe and Raph would think if I were to tell them the truth.
Does That really matter now? I already found the betrayal so how does it affect them if I were to tell everyone the truth? And by the way, I was the Alpha of this pack. If I keep acting suspicious about everything then it will be a bad image for me.
Just when I was about to speak out, Suddenly, General Ham came out from his chambers looking all confused at the sudden gathering. He looked everywhere and saw how we were just staring at him suspiciously. Though I haven’t said anything to them yet, the looks on their faces say

thing.
“W..w..what’s going on here?” He asked nervously.
He was nervous because of the way they all stared at him and I was quite confused also.
I turned to face the crowd.
“There’s something you all need to know and I’m sorry if the news will be shocking for you all,” I said but just then, one of the generals walked towards me and interrupted.
“There’s also something you need to know Alpha King,” The general said, which got me curious.
Was that the reason why they were all staring at General Ham in such a weird way? I looked at the general with focus and told him to proceed.
The general walked up to General Ham and pointed at him.
“This man is an imposter,” He said as I gasped.
“An imposter in what way?” I asked, trying to avoid the fact that I already knew he was an imposter. Was there any other crime that he had committed that I didn’t know about?
“We know what you’re up to, general ham, just spill the beans and tell us why you are doing this. We know that you were the one behind the incident that happened at the front gate and you are always the one behind the upcoming war,” He said as I gasped.
Wait! Do they all know about it already? So how come they all pretended like nothing happened at all?
If they knew about it then when? How?
“How did you find out about it? And when?” I asked but the general looked at me in shock.
“Wait… That means you knew about Alpha Kanen too?” The general asked as they all gasped at me.
Though it wasn’t a surprise, I was glad they all knew about this. They all know how despicable their ally can be and they can never be trusted at all.
“Yes, I knew about everything just a few moments ago. That is the reason why I’m here, I wanted to inform you all about what General Ham has done to us and should never be trusted for his evil deeds,” I said as they all gasped.
I didn’t really tell them the whole truth about why I was here though, I just never wanted them to find out that I tiptoed here to peep through each of their chambers to find out where the general might be, That would be too embarrassing for me.
I looked at General Ham’s reaction and noticed how frightened he was at what he had just experienced. I couldn’t feel bad for him though, Because all this should actually be his fault for choosing the wrong people to work with.
“Alpha, We all knew a few days ago.” The general said as I gasped.
“What? How could you find out for that long and yet you couldn’t do a thing about it?” I asked furiously.
Because that was even more dumb than any other thing.
“No Alpha, That wasn’t the case. We all suspected that something was going on in General Ham’s mind and that was why he drifted himself away from us. We couldn’t just stand the way he kept acting out all the time so we all decided to spy on him without his knowledge. That was how we found out about the war. We saw him writing a weird letter and gave it to a message. Luckily we captured the messenger and took the letter from him and read it.” He said as he quickly brought out a shit of paper from his pocket and opened it.
“What the hell are you doing with that piece of paper general,” General Ham said while wiping his eyes in shock to see the piece of paper with him.
“How did that piece of paper get in your hands,” He yelled arrogantly.
“This is just a small piece of evidence I held with me so I could show it to the Alpha, But since the Alpha already knew about what you’ve done to us, it’s even easier for us,” The general said with a smile.
“Are you crazy? Haven’t you heard of personal space, How dare you go through my stuff,” He said while approaching him trying to drag the paper from him.
Just then, I used my dark powers to blow him away and he flew and fell so hard on the ground.
Everyone gasped at the sudden accident that just occurred.
“You better watch your tongue, general ham. You are the culprit here so stop trying to pretend about everything. You are the reason we are all in this mess so try to put that in your thick skull,” I said arrogantly while he lay on the floor groaning in pain.
I faced the other general and said.

“Please go ahead and read out what the letter says,” I requested.
The general bowed and said.
“The letter says…
“Good day, my fellow Elfina’s. I just
wanted to remind you that our due
plan to finally destroy the Blood Moon
pack will be 2 days from now. The
main target of this war has to be none
other than the Alpha and also most
especially, The Luna of this pack
Rose…..”
I was so shocked. That bastard also had to involve Rose in his petty plans. And the worst part was Rose already left off on her own, Thinking she could stop this war from happening. But the problem was that The Elfina’s pack was targeting her, So that meant no matter what, they would try to kill or harm her I’m any way possible.
The general still continued.
“Please make sure everything goes
according to the plan, And I’ll also try
my best to inform you of anything
going on in this place.”
There, The letter ended. Everyone gasped at the sudden response in the letter, I just kept muted and dumbfounded.
“Alpha Kanen, With what has been written in this letter, it seems that General Ham already had everything in control. The fact that as a general, He had to also attend our generals‘ meeting also shows that he can inform the Elfina’s pack about what has been going on inside the palace. That was how the surprise fireball attack came at us,” one of the generals suggested.
As they all murmured in agreement.
I hesitated for a while and then looked at General Ham who stood a few miles from us.
I slowly walked towards him as the others followed me from behind.
Even Ray, who stood there listening to all our conversations, also followed me.
I walked close to the general and stopped.
“General Ham…” I called out as he slowly stared at me without uttering a word.
“I have two questions and you need to answer me correctly or you’ll die right here and now,” I said with a straight face as he began to tremble in fear.
“But first of all…Who are you?”
