Now it was just 1. Joc, Raph, and Ray who were present at the general’s chambers. Or more like no chamber at all because all the generals were dismissed today so was there a need to call it the general’s chambers again? I looked at Joe who kept looking sterling at General Ham who knelt on the floor still looking so reckless. At that point, I didn’t even know how to deal with him. Watching him alone really disgusted me. Thinking a while back, a few years ago I actually appointed a spy to the Blood Moon pack was what pissed me off for real.
I felt that I wasn’t fit to rule the pack any longer, Considering how things just turned out not in my favor. Rose was still missing and now the war has been on hold. Looking at how things were, it seems that Elfina’s pack was finally holding Rose hostage, which is why they haven’t made their move yet. It frightened me to think that we haven’t still heard a word from either the Elfina’s pack or Rose. What if something might have fuppened to her? I can’t even bear to see that if not then what was my actual purpose in life without her right now, I thought.
Just the Raph approached me and said.
“Your pack has really weird people. I couldn’t even believe something like this would happen in the Blood Moon pack of all packs.” Raph said.
“Believe me I’m surprised myself. I failed to notice what was actually going on within the pack and now this happened. If only I had paid attention back then, Nothing like this would have happened in the first place,” I said as I sighed in disbelief.
“Though I wouldn’t say all this is actually your fault. As the Alpha you tried in everything you do and I recommend you for that believe me. But you just failed to notice people around you, that’s just the fact about everything,” He suggested.
“I never once told you how everything became the way. It was only because of my selfish deeds back then in the past. In the past too, I did terrible things to Rose and up till today I can’t be able to forgive myself for that. Now it seems that I need her the most than I’ve ever needed her in my entire life,” I explained
“Now you feel regrets and remorse, You wish you could go back in time to change everything back right?” Raph suggested. “Yeah, But right now I like how everything is going for me. It seems like everything I did in the past has been redeemed somehow, I just like the way things are going between Rose and me, I couldn’t ask for

“It seems Rose really made a huge impact in your life. Judging from the way you were back then and now are totally different versions from them, I’m really glad things turned out in your favor,” He said with a smile as I chuckled.
“The truth is…Even though I’ve saved Rose several times before, No one knows how many countless times Rose has saved me and had my back. I’ll always recommend her for everything she’s done in my life, That’s actually the reason why I can’t let her go. It’s not because we already had kids together, it’s just that she saved my life numerous times that I feel like the only way to repay her is to repay her back with the love and care she has been showing me all this while,” I said as Raph
chuckled.
“I won’t argue with you on that though, Rose is really the type of person to change people. Just like If you’re an arrogant bastard her mere presence can even change you and make you a better human being,” He said as I chuckled.
“Are you serious right now?” I said jokingly as Raph kept a straight face.

Jokes apart though, Rose reelly makes an impact on people’s lives. It’s like she has a dark power for changing people’s attitudes and behavior just in one instant, From the way she speaks to the way she smiles. Everything seems so different around her. He said.
I wasn’t joking when I said Raph really changed from the last time we met. The way he commended Rose about everything really got me curious as to what Rose did to him when he disappeared with her a few days ago.
Though we might have equal powers and people feared him more than they feared me but now, This human–wolf right in front of me doesn’t look like someone who should be feared by people at all.
Did Rose really make an impact on him?
“How do you feel about Rose?” I asked a really nonchalant question. My curiosity struck again and I couldn’t just hold it in, I had to ask what my mind kept bothering me about.
“Even a normal person or a stranger would say the same thing so of course I like her. The times I’ve spent with her will always be a memorable one for me but now I can’t hide the fact that I have genuine feelings for her tho,” He said.
I already had a feeling he would say something like this. Anyone who had spent his time with Rose would have also said the same thing so I wouldn’t blame any of them for that.
“But….” He continued while interrupting my thoughts.
“I recommend your relationship with her and I’d like the two of you to remain happy, For as long as you are together. Rose is a really rare mate, So you should know how to take good care of her in case of anything or anyone trying to steal her away from you, you two are really made for each other,” He said.
His words were really encouraging and I was so glad he understood our feelings for each other and accepted us right away. Though it kind of surprised me how much he really changed over a few days with Rose.
“Back then when you said you’d make Rose your mate. Was that a threat or Was it something else?” I asked but then burst out of laughter.
“Well, the truth is I fell for Rose at first sight so, As human wolves whatever we see, We get it. I just thought that would be the easiest way to win her over if I took her away by force,” He said.
“So, What about your deal with her? And the deal you made with Sarah too? Don’t tell me because you want to hand over Rose to me, you’ll still end up Taking Sarah away. Sarah was the main reason why Rose had to sacrifice herself to protect, Even though it meant leaving her family behind,” I said.
“Though I was really impressed by how Rose reacted the way she did to someone she had only met for a few hours. Rose type is really rare to tell you the truth. No one in their right mind would try to do what she did for someone she had just met a few hours ago,” Raph said and then I nodded.
He put his hands on my shoulders and sighed.
“You’re really lucky kanen, Please once we rescue her, Take very good care of her even if it’s for me,” He said.
He just called me by my name, No one has ever called me by my name ‘Karen‘ before. Not even Rose tried to call me that so why would he? Though it felt nice to hear someone I admire calling me for time.
“You’re talking like someone who wants to leave? Where are you headed to?” I said as he smiled.
“Well, it’s only natural if I go back to where I came from, But first I have to help you in rescuing Rose before I leave. I can’t just leave without saying goodbye to her, it’ll be mean if I don’t at least do that,” He said.
“That really means a lot coming from you. I’d really appreciate it if you’d help me, Rose would appreciate it too?” I said as he nodded with a smile.

“But before that, I’d like us to be friends from now on.” I said as Raph became shocked and chuckled.
“Are you kidding? Do you want to be friends with a human wolf That would be totally insane, you know that right?” He said as I smiled.
“Well I don’t care at this point. I’ve already admired you and I would like you to be friends. Won’t you accept this little request of mine,” I said as I brought out my hands to shake him,

Gosh! I already began to sound like Rose trying to make friends with a few people too and it felt nice doing that. Raph looked at me with a smile and ignored shaking my hands. I was shocked.
“What’s wrong? You don’t want to be friends?” I asked as he turned.
“You’re acting a bit childish, You know that? Like I said, why would you want to be friends with your sworn enemy,” He said while turning away.
“Like I said too, Because I admire you. You could say that Rose actually influenced me into doing this, you know. Though I’m not usually this kind of person but now here I am, trying to ask you for friendship,” I said as he smiled.
“Well, I’ll think about it and give you an answer soon,” He said.
“I didn’t ask for a date, you know that right?” I said jokingly as Raph laughed.
“You’re crazy if you think that far, That’ll only mean you’re breaking Rose’s heart in the process. Well, if you do break her Heart then I’ll have to take over for you, Can’t I?” He said.
“No, you can’t,” I said as he laughed.
“Apart from all this, I just want to let you know that I’m really glad I met someone like you, Even though you look all mean

“Well, you could thank your mate for making me this way. But of course, I feel glad to have met your mate and not you though,” He said jokingly.

“It’s not bad when it comes to you though. For some reason, I feel really comfortable when I’m around you. I think this was what Rose meant by meeting a good friend. You meet them at first, And they respond to the same vibe as you do, You feel comfortable when talking to them about everything, You keep thinking about them from time to time,” I said
“Wait..you keep thinking of me?” He said surprised as I laughed.
“What the hell is wrong with you? Everything is on the friendship aspect, you’re acting really weird you know,” I said.
“Well, I couldn’t help but ask,” He said and we both laughed.
It was so fun having good
times together even if it was just for a short while and I’m happy he understood all my problems.
