Charlie eyed Ethan, who was nursing his drink, and scooted closer to Garrett

Consequently, the originally lively atmosphere became a bit quieter.
“He’s been blocked by someone, Garrett added
a fuel to the fire, always eager to watch the fun unfold,
Hearing those words, Ethan Hayes face darkened even more.
“CLANG!”
He slammed his wine glass onto the glass table. Irritated, he undid the buttons of his shin with one hand, looking a bit fierce.
“I said don’t mention her, don’t you understand?”
Garrett shrugged his shoulders and didn’t say another word.
The atmosphere changed immediately. Those who were singing knew better and shut their mouths. The people around also fell silent, not daring to say anything more.

The woman was pushed and shoved to sit beside Ethan. She was the top escort in this club and, of course, it wasn’t her first time accompanying Ethan.

Ethan sprang to his feet all of a sudden, showing no interest at all.“You guys have fun, I’m heading out.”
He left behind a group of people looking astonished and Cici who had just lost the chance to earn a huge appearance fee tonight.
After leaving the bar, the driver asked Ethan Hayes in the back seat where he wanted to go.
Having drunk two glasses of brandy, Ethan Hayes felt extremely dizzy.
Thinking of the empty villa, he said, “The company.”
“Mr. Hayes? What are you doing here?”
It was ten PM. The assistant was just about to get off work. He had just packed up his things when he saw Ethan Hayes coming out of the
elevator.
The assistant’s surprised expression made Ethan Hayes even more irritable.
Usually at this time, Summer Miller would worry about his irregular schedule and remind him to go to bed early. If he didn’t agree, she would come over and act coquettishly. Although he would say it was annoying, he would finally lie down obediently.
“Are you getting off work?”

The seafood porridge was excellent in color, aroma, and taste. Once in the mouth, there was a light fragrance and the sweet freshness of

But after just a few bites, he lost his appetite and put down the spoon.
Ethan Hayes couldn’t help but miss the millet purridge made by Summer…

Back at the apartment, Summer flipped the wall switch, and a gasp
echoed in the room..
The lights came on, revealing Raina, in a sexy silk camisole, entangled with a young man on the sofa. Raina’s hand was freely exploring the boy’s torso, revealing a six–pack. Their mouths were locked together, leaving a noticeable red mark on Raina’s neck.
The atmosphere was full of passion and ambiguity.
The sudden light startled Rains, leaving her slightly dazed. She instinctively stopped the guy from kissing her again.
“Hey, Summer, you’re back.”
“Ahem! Well, you two had better put your clothes on first”
Summer’s lips twitched. Sensibly, she immediately turned her back to give them time to tidy themselves up.
She sighed. She couldn’t live with Raina anymore.
No matter how good friends were, they all had their own privacy. Living together for a long time would be inconvenient for both of them. Raina, however, casually curled her red lips, not minding what had just happened at all.
She casually pulled up the strap that had slipped down to her arm, took a coat and put it on, and then picked up the man’s coat at her feet and threw it onto the man.
There was a lipstick mark on the handsome man’s face, and his eyes were still a bit red. Raina patted his face soothingly.”Be good. Go to the bedroom and wait for me.”
The young man obediemly picked up his clothes to just cover his chest, revealing his shoulders full of hickey marks. He smiled generously at Summer. “Hello, sis, good evening.”

He smiled, said nothing, and went to the bedroom.
Raina poured herself a glass of red wine, took a sip, and the sweet and slightly astringent taste spread across her tongue. She let out a satisfied sigh and then slowly corrected, “This one’s called Steven, not Keven.”

Summer poured herself a glass of warm water and said in a distracted manner, I visited Professor White at the hospital today.”
They were college classmates and students of Professor White, Raina was still in the university’s WhatsApp group and had heard about it.
She peeked at Summer, “You…”

Summer was still quite rational.“I Il have to meet Professor Mia White sooner or later. Some people and some things can’t be solved by just avoiding them.”
The next second, she raised her eyes. “Raina, will you accompany me to see the professor?”
